Just curious!

If you don't know your attachment style, here's a quick quiz to get an idea.

Y'know it's interesting, I feel like it depends on what phase of the relationship I'm in. Very early on I'm extremely anxious-preoccupied but once things are official I'm very secure. I don't think that's super unusual though

(Un)fortunately for me, I have never been in a relationship. And that's okay, too.

I've never actually been in a relationship, so I can't say for sure πŸ€” Some quick research tells me that INTPs like myself are usually dismissive or fearful avoidant because of our independent streak. I don't really like the idea of treating a partner in a fearful, dismissive or avoidant way, but it seems like the correlation is fairly strong πŸ˜… INTPs have a reputation for becoming quite warm and friendly once we get really comfortable with someone though, so I'd like to think of myself as someone who could work towards a stable/secure attachment style with time and the right person!

Pretty tough question to ask. Tbf I never had a gf in my life, so on those grounds I cannot say. But in the "nature of relationship" the best way I can put it for myself is this: phases/steps. 1. Anxious-preoccupied (I do have a tendency of a being a busy-bat. and also I have burned before thus anxious part. 2. Secured (once I know you and you know me we're good. Let's keep learning about each other.) This makes sense to some degree for everyone.

I feel like it's hard to know for sure. I know I definitely have anxious attachment issues, but I kinda think I have the worst is both worlds and I'm someone who is very hard to love.

I'm not exactly sure as I've never been in a relationship, but given the fact that the reason I haven't had one is because I'd rather be doing other things than putting the effort into dating you need to find a good girlfriend, I'm going to assume I'm avoidant. I think I started out as anxious, but I've had some... Experiences that changed that.

For my own sake, I hope this is dependant on the relationship rather than something that is ingrained. From the quiz thats been making the rounds, I got a very strong Anxious type. I answered the questions based on how I was in my previous and only long term relationship which was fraught with manipulation, negelct, gas lighting, and other degrading behaviour. This led to me developing an extremely unhealthy mentality regarding love and relationships as a whole which Im still trying to work through even years later. I hope this unhealthy style of attachment can be changed with time, and maybe once I do find someone who is better for me I don't carry over this unhealthy mentality with them. And if Im still not fully healed by time I meet them, I pray they have the paitence to help me through it until I am.

I believe I'm anxious avoidant, I recall getting that a while ago, but then again it HAS been a while, doubt it's changed though
