My future plans are very, very tentative. I have no idea where I'll be in the future. As of right now, I am simply following my heart. I am well-aware that I sound extremely naïve and idealistic during this discussion. I was cringing while editing because I sound like a ditzy graduate who has not yet had her dreams crushed and spirit broken. And maybe that is who I am, and maybe that is my fate. But I do not want to look back later in life and wish that I had tried. So here I am, trying. 

So sorry about the audio quality. My voice is echoed because I recorded this in my empty, non-soundproofed dorm during move-out.

Quite the emotional artist 😊. I send you a giant virtual bear hug! If it is your content you want to focus on full time, all the better for us! It's comforting to know you don't plan to go anywhere anytime soon from YouTube. As long as you stay, I'm sticking around. I hope my contributions have helped you. The important thing is to enjoy what you do. I think that comes first in a job. Not money. Still, if you get rich, that's a bonus! ____________________________________ I'm one of those people who couldn't decide what to do for so long. As a child, I suspected I might enter a scientific field. Then I did computer programming for the first time in high school, which I really enjoyed. I decided to pursue that along with game design in college. It was then that I realised that I liked programming in high school for a completely different reason. Since I was much faster than the others, I would go and help them during class. In college I was with students who could already do the job as well as I could, so I felt bored and useless. In my final year, I needed to take a third subject, so I picked sociology, since I had some social and political interests by then. I ended up loving it and so I chose to study journalism at university, since it was the closest thing to what I wanted to do. I wrote my first articles in a magazine that circulated in my college. Most recently, I've started looking at what jobs I might enter. I actually have no interest in being a journalist long-term. I want to do social and academic research. I may even give lecturing in a college or university a shot one day. My optimistic dream would be fiction writing. I have this big, grand story idea that I've mentioned a few times in my messages.
