Suggestion Box (27 April - 11 May) - Body-shapes #2 CLOSED (Patreon)

It's neigh time to start up the suggestion box again! It was a break well needed, but now that everything in my personal life is in order, I can finally focus on the fun stuff!

I have pondered about a potential replacement or a twist for this event, but nothing stuck with me. This system works and has created some great renders, if I may say so myself. The problem itself lies in my ability to create & finish scenes that don't catch my immediate attention and/or are obligations. It's something I have to learn to manage if I want to be consistent and professional in this field, especially for commissions. And instead of avoiding the problem, let's tackle it head on!

This time the theme is...body-shapes. I've used this theme back in early November which resulted in a Yuuka render. But because there are so many different combinations, I figured to let the theme have another go!


Now it's been a while since the previous one, so I'll clarify the rules for you guys, as well as for myself. The suggestion box is meant to mix things up. I try out new things while your suggestion gets realized into a scene. But isn't meant for requests. The applied themes are meant to 'subjugate' that. However, if for example, there's a character that is iconic for that body shape (or you got the idea from that character), it'll be just fine!

The massive Ivana picture made me feel like there should be a little more of that, where the breasts rival or exceed the size of an already large belly.

Heh, interesting! It'll be a while before Massive Ivana takes the show, unfortunately. I mean, I could start making scenes but who knows how much I'll have to tweak them later on once I do finally get to it. In any case, Manon fits that bill & it's quite the favorite it seems. :D

Firstly, I love your art, your characters and the world you've built for them. I've always enjoyed seeing characters develope and grow (especially their bellies). Secoundly, I feel like your characters have a great diversity of body proportions (especially their TnA). So, my suggestion woud be to focus on either excessive weight or more visable muscle. I feel Ivana could put on weigh and June would be a good fit for a more defined muscle picture.

Thanks! I'm glad folks find them so interesting. And body diversity is good, that's basically how most of my characters are designed. Whatever character I develop, I make sure her body shape doesn't overlap with someone else's. And if they do, I try to mix it up with something else. I do agree that both changes fit with the characters. However, for Ivana's case, I fear adding too much weight will make her too much like a taller Gwen further down the line. I do think June could use some defined muscles, but nothing too extreme. That's why I usually default to making one-time characters where I showcase that, rather than going for permanent changes to my OCs. However, I already have plans on tackling both those suggestions with the set of Magical Elves, that still need to be developed further. Not sure when I get around doing those.
