Such a great follow up to X! Mia Goth never ceases to amaze me with her performances!

iMiller21

AHHHH OH MY GOD! One of the best acting performances in recent memory for horror. The one take monologue is ICONIC!!

Jamie

Please watch scary movie

La Toya Sheri

Omg yes I'm def watching this after work. Your reactions give me joy girl. Love it. I'm so glad u got into horror.. my fav genre.

Henri J. Mertens

Btw David Corenswet, the film projectionist, is the new Superman. I think he’s going to do a great job!

Santana Xavier

Have you watched Get Out? It goes along with the vibes of pretty cinematography and horror

Considering Caitlin really dislikes horror comedy, she would probably not have a good time.

Robbie Corrie

If you want to see some of the great Mia Goth, I highly recommend Suspiria (2018) although I will warn you it's fairly long.

Robbie Corrie

It's unfair that the academy usually doesn't pay much attention to horror as Mia Goth's performances in X/Pearl alongside Toni Collette in Hereditary, Lupita Nyong'o in Us and Florence Pugh in Midsommar have been some of many, many outstanding performances in the horror genre lately

Alex

the last part during the credits is not looped actually ti west kept rolling so Mia goth just kept up the smile and then made herself cry because of it. and they kept it because was a genius way to end the movie

Yeah I don’t get why Jamie keeps recommending it….if she ever did watch a horror comedy I think she’d much prefer Shaun of the Dead and What We Do in the Shadows, since they still have some horror violence and thrills

Yeah! There's also "Us" & "Nope" by the same director but totally different stories (Still very horror) if you'd like to check them out :)

Ugh I'm so excited for maxxxine apparently it has the best script of the 3 and is the biggest movie out of them...cannot wait😭😭 and yes omg the argument dinner scene is CRAZYYYY it's like you're there witnessing it firsthand with how good it's acted it's just so intense

Jamie

Because it’s literally a parody of one of the best horror franchises and takes the characters and story into a different weirder way with still the classic slasher kills with a twist on every character she loved

Jamie

She might if she tried that’s why I’m recommending

Aggrothehorse

I am going to make a Stardew Valley character name her Pearl.

You said you didn’t know the difference between an alligator and a crocodile? The only really difference is you see one later and the other one in a while 🤷🏾‍♂️

David S. Grop

Have you considered digging into the classics? The Exorcist, The Omen, Evil Dead, The Wicker Man, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Night of the Living Dead, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc?

Tionne

Mia Goth is a PHENOMENAL actress and this movie especially showed that. Super excited for Maxxxine. Horror movies in general are overlooked and it's so sad because some of the best acting performances come from horror movies whether the entertainment industry wants to acknowledge that or not. I think about Mia Goth in these movies, Florence Pugh in Midsommar, Alyssa Sutherland in Evil Dead Rise, Lupita Nyong'o in Us, Sophie Wilde in Talk To Me, Elizabeth Moss in The Invisible Man, Sosie Bacon in Smile, Ralph Fiennes in The Menu, and Sydney Sweeney in Immaculate. But being that these are horror movies, of course their performances are gonna be overlooked by an action movie or something.

Niqua

Tone - very suprising Cinematography - cool Acting - top notch Howard - the OG "I can fix her."

Tswizz

You using the word “impressive” for the monologue is perfect, that scene brought the movie up 20 points alone, praise Mia Goth 🫡 Also, when Pearl killed Britney Snow’s character by feeding her to the alligator she states to Howard, “you know I don’t like blondes” now we know where it comes from 🤭

Tswizz

For a recommendation, it’s an older film but it’s the original hereditary, Rosemarys Baby may be the greatest horror ever made, just a thought! Would love The Thing and the VVitch too!!

Kaleb Meridieth

pearl is an amazing example of an unhinged girl

Sarah Lou

can't wait for MaXXXine!

Sarah Lou

WAIT HAS ANYONE HEARD MIA GOTH'S REAL VOICE? dude she's an actor
