Yyeeeeessss! Curious to see your thoughts on this one. I adore the outlandishness of this one and the purposeful use of camp, but I know not everyone was a fan of that. But you can’t deny James Wan swung for the fences and had a ball with this one.

It’s a wild one! James Wan’s tribute to horror films from back in the day! It’s unfortunate that some didn’t get what he was doing. It’s definitely not the typical James Wan style, and that was the point. Not for everyone, sure. I get it. But it’s such a bizarre and unique story. He pulled it off perfectly. The aesthetic is undeniable.

Absolutely. And so much of that action was done practically. They tried to just use CG for Gabriel when he was like jumping off scaffolding and such. So cool.

The Gabriel face was really in her head, they explained that they couldn't fully remove him cause it would damage her brain or kill her so they just pushed him in her head...😬

While this movie was already spoiled for me before I started watching this, nothing could have prepared me for actually seeing the big reveal. That might possibly be the funniest twist I've ever seen in a horror movie. XD I believe James Wan set out to make an homage to horror films of the 80s. It makes sense; I couldn't take this seriously. Was this scary? No, but it was absolutely entertaining at the end and quite memorable. What a trip.

Did not expect that at all but that was a great movie! if you ever want to watch one of the worse horror movies I've ever seen, it's called One Missed Call" it's an americsn remake of a japanese film. scared the heck out of me as a 10 year old but i still think it would be fun to see you react to it! and maybe do the original after?
