La Toya Sheri

I've missed your movie commentary. I just finished working out about to eat and shower then of course watch one of my favorite reviewers give entertaining commentary. I think they could have done so much better with this imo. I hope the next two installments are better. I feel like this was watching a play by play of the original one.

Mark Herrera

Dude I saw this movie with hopes of it being a decent prequel but no another crappy remake, complete flop

Caitlin Marie

totally agree! there was so much potential and they just did a remake instead. hope you enjoy the video though!

>>142422156

Your video will make even the lamest movie fun to watch because of your personality. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't even watch it again.

k80scorner

Yay another video!! Side note, is anyone else’s video glitching and skipping? I’m not sure if it’s my app/internet or something else, so I thought I’d ask!

Tionne

This movie was simply just not good. It was a bit of a disgrace to the first two because they were both so good. Really thought this was gonna be a prequel because that’s how they advertised it but instead it was just a cash grab remake that didn’t even try. These characters had absolutely NO survival instincts that had me just waiting for them to be killed tbh, that sounds wicked but I was getting bored. Truly just not a good film in all honesty, smh. I knew you wouldn’t enjoy this one, I felt it coming. Hoping you check out some more classics soon Caitlin! Particularly Nightmare On Elm Street. Maybe not all the movies bc some suck, but definitely the original, part 3, and New Nightmare. Nancy is my personal fav final girl, I think you would have a good time with those movies

let me know if more people are having issues! it's running fine from what i can see, but if it seems to be happening for a lot of people, it's definitely a me issue and i'll reupload

samantha maddox

i’m so glad i didn’t see this in theaters because i would not have paid to watch this. absolute garbage in comparison to the first 2. so upset.

k80scorner
>>142426331

I still can’t get it to work on the Patreon app, but others are saying it’s fine on desktop! I haven’t had a chance to try that option out just yet lol

Kelsea Avery

Caitlin vs the cgi door 😂😂 best part

Kevin Cain

Caitlin... please watch that new movie "Tarot"! I really think you'll like it! 😃

Allison Schleicher

Them having zero survival instincts pissed me off. It’s just a bad remake

Fernando

I knew going in that it was going to be very similar to the original and that chapters 2 and 3 were different but I wished they at least attempted to be at least a bit different but hey I still enjoyed it. I get why many didn’t though.

Kaitlin Hilton

unfortunately i wasted my money seeing this in theater :( hopefully they do better

Andrew Tims

It won’t play 😭 every time I try to play it, the screen just goes black and won’t play at all.

Terrell
>>142422156

It was actually confirmed by someone who worked on the film that this isn't a remake. So chapter 2 or 3 will tie into one of the other movies I guess

Slade Smith

yeah I can’t watch it for some reason it won’t play 😭

Terrell

All the OG 3 die in prey at night so I think these are all new people dawning the masks

Lachlan Davis

i loved the first two and was so excited for this because i love madelaine.. hoping that if it is continued, it's better..

Roman Chayok

Please do polls again for the movies! 🙏

Caitlin Marie
>>142444138

i'm not sure what i can do about this since it's working for a lot of people. that means it's not an issue on my end. i can try a reupload but i'm not sure that will change it, hoping for the best 🤞

Caitlin Marie

i reuploaded the video so hopefully that fixes things for those of you who couldn't access it!

Cory

let’s ignore that I’ve been trying to watch on every wifi and device imaginable and it still not playing for me😭😭unfort will have to wait for the shortened yt video😔😔

CKemm
>>142488140

It’s so weird bc it’s still being weird for me too, but every other video from you and other creators are fine. Other browsers don’t help either.

Cory
>>142488140

yeah other videos are still working but it’s not a huge deal, I appreciate you trying and reuploading it

k80scorner
>>142480724

Sadly didn’t change anything for me, I’ll just have to wait and watch the edited version on YouTube 🥲

fleurdelis1989

I was having the same problem with the screen going black all of the sudden but I turned my phone off and back on and now it works!

tyler

I love your movie reactions!

Henri J. Mertens
>>142444138

Maybe it’s not working on certain devices? Watching it on my iPhone and it’s still not working 😞

rheanna

i can’t watch it :(

Destiny De Armas

For some reason the video won’t play on the app but for those still having trouble you can watch it on your web browser.

reub

i feel like this may have been a group of killers who were new and not confident in showing their hair yet so they used something to cover their hair

Caitlin Marie

okay. so i just realized that i accidentally used a different file format than i usually do when i exported this video. gonna reexport in my usual format and give it one last re-upload. HOPEFULLY this fixes the app issue 😅

Caitlin Marie

YAYYY omg what a victory. sorry for the initial confusion 🤦‍♀️

Panda333

This is a prospective from someone who love all three movies,I see this as the the strangers fairly new and learning their dynamic like how in the first two it’s the blonde at the door in this it’s the brunette and learning how they work with the shotgun scene I see it as she was distracting Ryan and showing her position to the axe guy and I feel the callbacks were done really well like with the kids, the music and even the tying up the victims in the end

La Toya Sheri

I just thought of something while watching your review. Since the one stranger is blonde in the other movies I wonder if one of the brunettes in this one die in another chapter like 2 or 3 and they recruit the blonde. I was thinking that because remember at the end of the first one they told her it'll be easier next time. It was like she just started doing it.

La Toya Sheri
>>142422156

I hope they are good. Idk if I'll even waste money in a theatre for those. I may just wait until it's on a streaming service.

Sebastian

Please react to Aurora’s new album what happened to the heart!!💙💙💙💙 amazing video as always queen, have an amazing day

Chris Lindgren

Just discovered you through YouTube! Your reactions are the best! Thanks for the fun entertainment! I’m with you on this one though. I loved the first movie when it came out but this was just uncreative remake that they were hoping would pull in some cash. Also why are we remaking movies that just came out 16 years ago? 🤔

Erika Hope

Torre Johnson

I would love to see you react to your favorite/most popular criminal mind episodes

Sophia Akbar

Ok so this movie I'm assuming was made to be a replica for the first one but then carry on the story in 2 and 3, but they made it too similar, although i enjoyed it it does need to be a lot more creative

Sophia Akbar

there's a post credit scene by the way that you may want to go back and watch (i dont know why they didnt just include it in that final hospital scene), i'll just give a recap of what happens but (spoilers): She gets up off the bed and the scarecrow guy is basically right next to her in the hospital next to the bed (thats literally it lmaooo)

Neonar

As someone who hadn't seen the original in a while, I thought this one was really fun. It is even better if you watched it from the perspective that its a Scary Movie version of the originals.

Cat Rizzo

I enjoyed The Strangers: Chapter 1 all remakes are going to get hate and thats okay everyone has there own opinion. But I love both actors and it was a good watch! I think with the next two chapters it will go into further depths of everything.

Cat Rizzo

Fun fact Madelaine's head was actually there when the axe went through the door. She said it during a interview. She had to trust who was behind the door.

Avalon Perry

I'm late to this reaction, but surprisingly enough this movie isn't supposed to be a remake. One Google search, and you'll find out that it's meant to be a separate story from the original story, just about the same family (or like same bloodline?) of killers. I understand how people can be confused and think it's a remake because of all the similarities, but apparently, they were just trying to call back to the original movies to show that these killers have some sort of routine every time they do this, and I guess to excite fans too. Instead, it came off as a cheap remake. I think maybe this movie would've done better if they made it clear in advertising that it wasn't supposed to be a remake, but they didn't, and that's one of its biggest faults. I feel like I would've enjoyed this movie a lot more if I'd known that going into theaters. I really admire Madelaine as an actress, and she was one of the only redeeming qualities of this movie for me😭 no, someone else probably already mentioned this, but there's an after credit scene in the hospital :) Really hoping chapter 2 will be better and decide to do something actually original and creative…
