Kelsea Avery

omg i get to watch it the first time with you YAYYY🫶

emma🦢

Oh I will be so seated after work

Robbie Corrie

I think X is still my favourite but this one is a close second. I love movies about making movies so that definitely helps although I do wish there was a bit more "horror" but overall I loved what we got. I think Ti West said there is a plan for another movie however for the most part he's happy to leave it as a trilogy

Junior

Let’s gooooooooo

Robbie Corrie

A good recommendation for you is the Urban Legend franchise, especially the second one that you've mentioned the whole movie about making a movie, I think you'd quite like that

Henri J. Mertens

Easily Pearl. I thought X was good but a bit too similar to Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Loved Maxxine

Melissa Estenoz

You should react to longlegs, I watch it when it premiered and it was really good

emma🦢

My ranking is the same as the release order tbh! X is my fave with Pearl as a close second and then maxxxine! It's funny because I was so sure maxxxine would have the most rewatchability but I feel it's actually the least😭 still like it though!!

Bluecricket

not to be a hater but, longlegs won the poll :(

Santana Xavier

Just subscribed to watch this full length with you OMG I'm so excited

JSmoak

Yes I was like well, I guess Caitlin is taking us into the theater for Longlegs, and voted for it but I suspected as much. Looking forward to Maxxxine too, thanks Caitlin 😊

La Toya Sheri

We really enjoyed this one. Mia Goth is so gorgeous n talented

Santana Xavier

Oh well I think this is my favorite out of the 3... But I'll give it time like the others to see tho

La Toya Sheri

The private I was naming her friends that got killed in X.

leah hoffman

I’m sad the X journey has come to an end :( But this movie was amazing!!

Kailee’s archive

mia goth is such an amazing actor she just amzing in anything she's in

Lizz Locke

pearl was the craziest to me! But I liked the style of this one, more classic slasher! Actually i thought it would have been cool if they found a way to the this into pearl, like show the axe from pearl or maybe one of the movies pearl had watched or something!?

Gio Vidrio

This one felt more tamed from the first two. I will say it was a nice way to see Maxine get the life that she deserved. Even though it ended in a blood bath. Mia Goth will go down as a legendary scream Queen. 🔪🪓😱

JeremyOnDeck

I do think I like Pearl the most with this maybe being the weakest one. Having said that, this was still very fun and Mia Goth still rules. Each film still felt like it's own thing so it really does come down preference of genre.

Switch

Love it! Did feel very different from the previous 2 but, for me in a good way, since '80s LA is a vastly contrasting setting to '10s/'70s rural Texas. Have to watch a few more times to fav order out the 3. Pearl feels like the best & most well-rounded of them in my heart. P.S. Theda Bara (the Hollywood star Maxine puts the cig out on) was a silent movie era star & one of cinema's earliest "sex symbols". Pearl walks past her Cleopatra movie poster when going to the theater in town. Also the namesake of the Alligator in the pond lol.

Niqua

I thought this was a well made film. The characters were interesting, it definitely had atmosphere and it kept me engaged. X and Pearl...it's strange. X seemed a bit more conventional in its approach to horror compared to Pearl (although it was still a bit unconventional overall). On the other hand, young Pearl is one of the few characters I've seen that genuinely made me uncomfortable. "When is this powder keg going to blow next?!" Oh and that smile at the end of Pearl!!!! Jeeze Louise.... At any rate, these was a very interesting trilogy and well made as well. I have to give a shout out to Mia, she really had some stellar performances in these films.

JSmoak

So I have now watched all three of these in the last couple of days for the first time thanks to this beautiful community of like minded people. Verdict: Maxxxine and Pearl are great. X was so uncomfortable and watching that hideous old lady try and sleep with everyone made me want to cry, but not because I was scared. X did however serve as a nice jumping off point for these other two which I really enjoyed, and the cowboy dude was like discount Matthew McConaughey, so that was fun.

Tswizz

If you wanna get back to some classics after watching this movie I would highly recommend Rosemarys Baby and Psycho, a lot of the horror genre has been influenced by the two and they are phenomenal

Iggy 5150

It's very fitting for the killer to be who it was, the motivation does make sense. Overall the trilogy is amazing and each film brings it's unique individual style for the times in which they take place. Mia Goth is such an incredible performer. I love all three films but I must say performance wise, I feel Pearl gave her the most material to sink her teeth into and display her immense talent. Side note, Maxxxine taking place during the Night Stalker murders hits close to home, as I grew up here in Southern California and his murder spree was all across the area, at the time, my dad worked nights, leaving my mom home with me a little boy and my baby brother in our apartment. She told us in our later years that during this time she would sleep with a kitchen knife under her pillow. The murders took place during the hot summer months and people would often leave their windows open at night to help cool the house as they slept. Of course once the murders started happening people had to stop doing that. Such a scary time.

LexJordan

I was hoping Maxine would end up being the night stalker 😂

Jessica Leigh

Sorry the highlight for me was her cutting lines with her SAG card and using a $100 bill to blow it. Nice contrast lol

Jessica Leigh

Also I wanted to hear Kevin Bacon songs in this movie set in the 80’s… we couldnt get just a hint of even one song from footloose? No Kenny Loggins? Lol I maintain my favorite horror soundtrack is a tie between Scream 1 and Strangers: Prey. Needed a win here… lol
