Santana Xavier

Waited for your reaction 'cause I wouldn't dare to watch this alone lmao

tom_j

Omg can't wait to finish work so I can watch

Ally

Was sooo uncomfortable watching this in the theater! OMG can't wait to see how you did!! ❤️🫶

Jamie

W upload but I watched vhs 2 last night and trust me it’s better than the first and you’ll love it please give it a try

k80scorner

Caitlin! I can’t even begin to tell you how much I needed this today, thank you 😭🙌🏼💕

KingBacchus_504

Perfect timing I planned on watching long legs tn after work 😂

Robbie Corrie

Given your interest in Criminal Minds and the whole Murder Mystery thing, i was curious if you ever saw Se7en (1995), if not i think it'll be right up your alley

Keiron Laer

I will say, it’s fine and interesting at first, but it does feel like it never really goes in a direction that is wholly satisfying 🤷🏾‍♂️

Penina Slade

Caitlin, would you ever react to suspenseful/scary shows!??

Ham

hii, I loved this reaction! also, I'd love for u to continue watching SAW!!

Aodhan 🇮🇪

When she was screaming in the car she wasn’t acting like him, she was just so traumatized by finding out about her mom, and she took his car because the car she arrived in had a dead body blown to pieces in it by a shotgun lol, enjoyed the reaction tho!

JSmoak

Yay!!! Love this movie and looking forward to watching this later. Thanks Caitlin.

Tswizz

I feel this movie is a James Wan and Stanley Kubrick baby, I also felt the highly similar ideas and scenes to Malignant and also noticed the multiple symmetrical slots, while I loved the direction the plot, just like Maxxxine, fell off in the third act for me but I had such high hopes!!

nathan h

i love rewatching this movie in most of the scenes if u look carefully the devil is always standing behind her in doorways, windows, shadows

Mb mb the only reason I commented on it is cuz I thought you were genuinely confused about that part still lol

The Gamer's Club

can you react to trap, last night in Soho, and the watchers? they are also soo good!!

Ellen

I saw this in theaters with a friend and to this day I cannot decide how I feel about it! I think I like it? The plot is not exactly seamless, but I mean at least it’s memorable. And the atmosphere is chefs kiss!

Henri J. Mertens

I hated Longlegs the first time I saw it in theaters, but after watching it again, I don’t completely hate it now lol. Still, the plot elements just seemed so random that it was hard to enjoy anything that was actually happening. The twists and turns in Insidious on the other hand were always surprising but they still felt natural and satisfying

JSmoak

This was a really fun reaction I enjoyed it a lot. This movie is one that I feel is more enjoyable the second time it's watched, because when you know where it's going things make a lot more sense lol it's pretty convoluted overall. They should have extended it by 20 mins, it was only 1 hrs 40 mins, and provide more back story on Longlegs and the satanic aspect. But I love this movie, cinematography and atmosphere are 10 out of 10 in my humble opinion. Thanks again for watching Caitlin!

How do you know Nic Cage was not intentionally trying to make you laugh though lol

Brandon Curtsinger

I absolutely loved this movie! It’s one of those movies that gets better with each watch. There are so many easter eggs and clues throughout the movie.

JSmoak

You know, The Haunting of Hill House would provide ten episodes of horror to us valued subscribers lol I love that show

JeremyOnDeck
>>148019383

I think I would throw "Prisoners" in there too even though that is more of a psychological thriller.

PlumDutchess

I have no idea how I feel. I was waiting for it to fully make sense. And it never did. Have you ever seen The Skeleton Key? It's an older movie, but might be worth the watch if you haven't.

Keiron Laer
>>148078304

She’s seen both Hill House and Bly Manor already, according to her Letterboxd account

La Toya Sheri

Idk what to think of this. It was strange. I didn't get it tbh. I didn't think it was that good imo.

Kevin Cain

Awesome to get to watch two of my favorite beauties at once: Caitlin Marie and Maika Monroe!!!! 🥰🥰❣️❣️

Keely

even crazier that the writer and director of this movie played David in Legally Blonde

emma🦢

my bday is on the 14th of november maybe i should get a longlegs bday cake....need him to sing to me</3

d7om-22

Can you react to Zayn album room under the stairs please

Jamie

Could u do some more horror reactions?

Niqua

I've actually thought about this movie for a few days. The technical aspects are really good (the shots, atmosphere, acting, sound design, etc). As well this movie had a strong start. The plot was a bit much. I eventually gave up trying to understand and just rolled with it. I want to give this movie some credit because it's seems obvious care was put into it and it has quality aspects but man, it just didn't stick the landing. That ending was underwhelming. As well, is it asking too much to have a bit more of an UPBEAT conclusion? The world sucks enough right now, lol. (I get it, evil never completely goes away, it's a horror film, blah blah blah).

Also, what's the hype about? Is it Nic Cage's role? I'm not trying to be pretentious, I just genuinely don't understand the hype.

JSmoak

The Thing from 1982 holds up really well. Maybe you watched already I don't know.

Michael Bruno

I’ve seen this movie three times now(this reaction being the third time). I tell ya, its interesting hearing your commentary throughout because I’m so many ways I was thinking along the same lines with what was going on lol this movie was completely batshit crazy. As to the ending ? I’ve come to believe it was intentional for it to be ambiguous, because my first assumption at first was “ok they left but Lee is definitely F**ked” but after seeing this a third time? Something tells me she got possessed….and finished the deed, hence the hanging shot of her just staring at the doll. Who knows? But that’s the point I think. Because realistically evil, And I mean EVIL in this nature is always an indescribable, and sometimes unexplainable, side of humanity. And that, for me at least, is what makes this type of filmmaking so quintessential

"Countdown " is so good , check it out

I’d love for her to do Midnight Mass! I’m always down for anything Flanagan

JSmoak
>>148078304

That would be cool. I've actually never seen that one myself.

Readster

Oz Perkins, the writer/director for this film is an incredible director that has made a bunch of horror movies that are weird and not for everyone. Personally I highly recommend his first film "The Blackcoat's Daughter" / "February" It has a very similar slowburn atmosphere to this film, with an interesting structure to its storytelling, but I think it nails its themes a lot better than this one did.

Haven't seen Longlegs yet, but I 100% agree about The Blackcoats Daughter, I expected a casual Blumhouse style demon movie and was completely blown away, it's such a treat for everyone who likes slowburn horror and I can't wait to watch it with my friends to see them react to it :D

Klaoink

maybe the best movie ive seen this year... not that i understood any thing but still....

Torre Johnson

Have you seen american horror story in would be interested if you can do mini episodes watching an episode of American horror story and go through all the seasons

Steven Bucchieri

I watched the movie for the first time along with you just now! I thought it was pretty good overall! The way that it was filmed and the overall atmosphere was amazing, but I wasn't a huge fan of the ending either...even though I see what they were going for. Thanks for giving your honest thoughts as always!

Jason Brocius

I loved this movie so much...until Longlegs ruined it🤦‍♂️ I am totally okay with supernatural elements in a serious, grounded horror film. However, i cannot suspend my disbelief that someone as insanely weird, illogical, and fruity as Nic Cage in this movie wouldn't have been on multiple government watch lists for a very, very long time.

Eric

this one was great. Love these kind of movies!
