Hi, Caitlin. Love your reactions! I think the shoot they were talking about in that episode is the photoshoot they had for BTS [NOW2] in Europe & America. There's a DVD and everything.

back to blue side

they usually don't allow photos when they're on private schedules or when they're filming stuff. also i think bts usually avoid photos with fans to be fair towards all fans but i'm not sure lol

They were being followed by fans throughout this entire season, including on the cruise ship! So the no photos may have been just for safety, but they generally don’t take pictures with fans anyway. The “important business” line has become a running joke through every season of Bon Voyage 😂 I was having a bad morning at work and this was such a mood booster, thank you 💜

i'm pretty sure i've seen this episode 6 times by now and it makes me just as sad every time :((

The problem with taking photos with fans is that the fans will then turn around and post the pictures. That let's people know where they are and they can get mobbed. Or, like with JK, when he took a picture with his tattoo artist and she posted it, a lot of people were wondering if she was his girlfriend and it turned into a whole major thing until it got out that she was his tattoo artist. They refuse pictures to avoid those kinds of things.

It took me a long time to watch the last two episodes of this season, because I didn't want to watch it without Namjoon there. I love all of the boys but it just doesn't seem right when one of them is missing. As far as a cruise is concerned, it depends on the cruise. Some ships have bigger rooms than others and some cruises have more to do on the ship or different things to do. I went on a themed cruise and there were all sorts of activities based on the theme. For the cruise I was on, the special activities on the ship were the draw. For a lot of cruises, it's the destinations, not the actual ship board activities that are the draw. Our cabin was at least twice the size of the one they were in and we only had single beds, no bunk beds. We also had a chair, a desk, and a TV in the room, as well as power, of course, so you could bring your own laptop and watch movies or whatever. You had to pay extra for internet, but it was available. Also, they had free room service at any time for simple things, like a turkey sandwich. They had the fancy dining hall that only served meals at set times but they also had things that were available at any hour in a different dining area, like pizza and other sandwiches. And ice cream. They had a night club and a casino, too, so you could find something to do at almost any hour. Since the focus of the trip that I went on was actually one the ship, we didn't spend much time at our destinations, only a few hours. Long enough to get some good pictures in and some souvenirs or shopping. I went on a Caribbean cruise. We stopped at Mahogany Bay in Roatan and Cozumel, Mexico. I get motion sickness really easy but they have over the counter meds you can take, one a day, and I didn't have any trouble. All in all, it was a great trip.

I feel always so sad when I see that they dont take pictures with fans because they would posted and lots of other ARMY fans would go crazy. So, I understand why they dont take pictures but its still makes me sad. Wish some fans could be more respectful towards them.

it makes me sad too, but i wouldn't say asking for photos is disrespectful. it's considered a normal thing in our culture these days. i totally get why they have to say no but it's always so awkward

No, of course that its normal to ask for photo. Im talking about fans who would see the photos and location on twitter and the boys would get mobbed because of it. Thank you for you reply :D
