Wasn't even aware there was a sequel, that's how forgettable it was i guess

Flavien Oliver

I didn't like it as much as the 1st one tbh 😅😅 Sinister 1 is superior when it comes to scary and disturbing movies

Caitlin Marie

i just realized how funny this thumbnail is without the context of what the title is going to be on youtube

Henri J. Mertens

Personally I rank this as one of the worst horror sequels I’ve ever seen lol. But it’s definitely entertaining

Raj Hudek

Not a great sequel. Probably why they didn't go for round 3. But I'm happy to watch it with my scary movie buddy! Still putting in my vote for Happy Death Day and it's sequel!

Aodhan McWilliams

I didn’t even know this movie existed ngl, that thumbnail tho 😭

I saw this when it came out and I remember thinking it was meh at best. The first one is the superior of course and I have a bigger personal connection to it with my social life But I do admit, rewatching it along side you, I think I was too harsh on it initally. There is quite a lot that I liked, the rat scene is a highlight as well as the needle drop during the cornfield scene. The performances are great too. I forgot about the whole numbers station broadcast thing and IF there is a Sinister 3, I would be interested in seeing that explored.

Also this movie has my biggest pet peeve in horror/thriller films. “I have relevant information that could end the story right this minute. But not on the phone!” lol. Acting as though the police are tracing their call

although i didn't love this movie it definitely had its moments. the sunday service tape was pretty good and my favorite scene was Deputy facing off against the state troopers 😂 and the whole radio thing... i still don't understand that at ALL haha

Henri J. Mertens

Have you seen Misery? That movie is ridiculously entertaining. And extremely quotable

Caleb

Whoever did the audio mixing on this movie, it is simultaneously too loud and too quiet

parALICEis

honestly was more invested in these characters than in the first one
