Yeah YLM hits hard…also it makes the rest of the album sound different after, given the context of the person it’s likely about (obv we don’t know details) but from them loving to write sad songs and the pandemic albums , the parallels with ATW10/TGW with the soldiers, the hallways and take me away in hits different vs here, the giving signs and it relating to exile that they wrote, her champagne speech last week and all the proposing - and what if she wanted it but he didn’t so she just said “oh it’s fine we don’t need to” as a ppl pleaser, but then stuff like “all they keep asking me” bringing jt back up, or her wanting to stay in a lavender haze honeymoon phase and maybe sensing that things aren’t great so revisiting past relationships (aka Midnights) to see what did and didn’t work, even the prologue booklet page for Midnights reads different…so many interpretations you CAN have with this now, truly heartbreaking. That being said, it’s all speculation and I don’t like to name names or say “oh so THAT is what blank is about,” because we truly never know, but so many things that CAN connect and so many possible interpretations, it def hits hard!!!

I’ve never really been in any sort of relationship before but You’re Losing Me hurts me in many ways because my best friend for 5+ years back in February just stopped being friends with me over something so insignificant and this song reminded me of that and how much that moment hurt me because I genuinely cared for him as a person and everything and I still deal with that moment every day

Also about the tracks, yeah FOB was surprising at first but reading the tweet with her track list picture it makes sense, excited. Yes some of those are old songs we know/knew existed…hell Ally had predicted some of the possible vault songs before the announcement and her list included “I Can See You”, Castles Crumbling”, “Foolish One”, and “Timeless” (amongst like 11 songs…like she’s next level knowing all the lore and unreleased songs), she got all but 2 of the vault tracks on her list 😭

Also I’m claiming Electric Touch and Castle Crumbling as my vault tracks! Idk they really Speak to me 💜

If they'd kept the "it's coming down" in SOTB it honestly would have been the perfect song. It's clever though, because now people will still listen to both 😅

I'm literally so excited for this re-release because Speak Now was the era that I saw Taylor live for the first time in concert all the way back in 2011. Innocent is gonna be a really interesting one, especially considering what she wrote it about back then and what it must mean to her now over a decade later, now that she's into her 30s. The album tracks I'm most excited for are sparks fly, enchanted, back to december, long live and, since I became a first-time auntie six months ago, never grow up is gonna hit so much harder now cause it reminds me of my niece. For the vault tracks, I think timeless is probably the one I'm most excited for cause it fits in with the whole vibe of this album 💜

Allison Schleicher

I’m excited for Speak Now, the Speak Now tour was my first tour of hers. People were saying maybe “When Emma falls in love” is about Emma Stone or Jane Austen’s Emma

Love this Snow On The Beach with more Lana, but why am I the only one that has the original as one of my favorite songs, and (before Hits. Different) 2nd on Midnights?

Drew

I think you were reminded of call it what you want with castles crumbling

Less Lana Version >>>>>>>>>>>>>

Kimberly Wallshield

YLM really hits hard when you realize bejeweled was about Joe

June is my favorite month, like, my Birthday's in June, but I still wanna fast forward to July cause I CANT WAIT Hayley Williams is my DREAM collab! has been forever (along with Stevie Nicks), and "Castles Crumbling" reminds me of "Brick by Boring Brick" for some reason and I can not wait I'm so excited lol

Liv R

I am one of those people who thinks the original Snow on the Beach is better.... sorry but not a Lana fan so less of her was better.

Lana co-wrote the song from the beginning, though. And her songwriting fingerprints are all over it...it sounds exactly like you'd imagine a cross between Lana and Taylor's styles would. So no offense, but if you don't like Lana, I'm a bit confused how you could have liked the song in the first place.
