Henri J. Mertens

I listened to Stick Season on the same day I watched The Perks of Being a Wall Flower for the very first time. I still haven’t fully recovered lol

Coline Grelaud

Oh god ... I was about to go to sleep but i guess we're not sleeping tonight !

Nick Burgess

Hell yes. Love your mug and you and this album.

joline

Omg i've waited for so long, im SO EXITED

jc

can't wait to watch your reaction - when I heard stick season for the first time I couldn't stop thinking "caitlin is going to be emotionally destroyed by this album"

Caitlin Story

This album is so beautifully written, I love it so much!! I can't wait to see your whole reaction to it! I love it already! ❤️

Leah Goodman

Ahhh!!! Can’t wait to watch this when I have the time! So excited for your reaction!

Alix Ross

The feeling of this album gave me Mumford and Son/ Of Monsters and Men vibes throughout it idk why but that's the musical vibe I got while listening! Loved it! <3

Maddy

yes here we go

Every time I get a notification for your videos I wonder if it's finally Noah Kahan time, and now it is!!! So happy you finally got to experience this amazing album! ❤️

So after watching this, I looked up other reviews and I’m shocked at how many music reviewers have disliked this album. Like, I just don’t get it…

Kjthelife

Yeah, this album is one in a blue moon. To me this album feels like one of the rare exceptions where the lyrical, production, and vocals all come together to form this beautiful project. Its truly amazing what he was able to do.

kachow6969

can't wait to watch your reaction. also, just wanted to put it out there that i feel you would definitely love his first album, busyhead, which is my personal favorite, and his ep cape elizabeth, if not all of his work. he has a short discography (three albums: stick season, i was/i am, busyhead & two eps: hurt somebody, cape elizabeth), so would be quick to get through! :)

Leah Goodman

I loved reliving this album with you! It was my first time listening through the entire Deluxe project from start to finish and I think it works really well. I bet if you did an “I hate him” counter you would surpass 50 times. 🤣 And I honestly think he’d love that. Thanks for sharing this with us! I know it was a long and heavy one to get through. So glad you get to continue to enjoy his music. This has become one of my favorite albums of all time.

The Gamer's Club

HIGHLYYYYYY recommend The Oh Hellos, specifically Dear Wormwood. That album is soooo good and has the vibes of this project

Brian - DocHikes - Hall

Finally had time to watch this all the way through, and I've gotta say that since you felt this and you're into Black Country, New Road a little bit, I'm just going to say again that you've GOTTA check out Sigur Rós from Iceland. Their 1999 album, "Ágætis byrjun" ("A Good Beginning" in English) is right up your alley. I think everyone here would enjoy that one especially. And it's very happy/optimistic/transcendental

This has quickly become one of my favorite albums of all time, but oh god it’s absolutely devastating.. the original was gut punching, and then the deluxe version came out and completely wrecked me. I honestly think this will be one of those albums i’ll still remember and love in 50 years

Slade Smith

I bought my first subscription for Patreon specifically for this full uncut reaction. Stick season means the absolute most to me, Noah is my favorite artist ever & I’m so happy you enjoyed this album too. ❤️

Robisan

This album has such a "For Emma, Forever Ago" feel about it, almost like Noah is in a cabin in Vermont, simultaneously at home and adrift, both unsettling. And occasionally Father John Misty seemingly drops by to lend vocals. Noah really needs a dose of Talking Heads "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)," which is such a great comfort song about finding mental, emotional, romantic 'home.' Really enjoyed experiencing this album for the first time with you and hope to see more of this genre here.

Jonathan Conlon

This is an amazing album. I recommend the band Mt. Joy, this music reminds me a bit of them.

Allison Schleicher

I’m listening back to this album on my own and it’s so good. I want to get into more indie music but I don’t like how some artists and fans act (especially after Folklore and Evermore came out)

David Becker

I'm here a year later listening to this entire album with you bc it's so incredible. This is the first album in my lifetime where I listen to the whole album with no skips. It hits me in my feels hard as I can relate so personally to a lot of these songs and never get tired of it. Lots of tears shed with this one.

SSimkev

finally got patreon just for your album reactions, thank you for sharing!! Also, when he says "this town's for the record now the intersection got a target and they're calling it downtown, it's a reference to the ONLY target in VT and how no one considered that area "downtown" until target arrived. His writing will forever amaze me.
