Clean TV still hurt me just as much as the original, especially knowing how much she's been through in the past nine years since the original recording 🥺 The vault tracks though!! My top 3 right now would have to be Suburban Legends, Say Don't Go, and Is It Over Now? I think this is my favorite set of vault tracks so far like!! And I was so happy that you also picked up on the midnights vibe to a lot of them like!! Ugh I'm obsessed 🩵

In Clean the background vocals are Imogen Heap! She wrote and produced the song with Taylor. I was soooo happy to hear them way more pronounced in the re-record! She is absolutely amazing.

Having sat on these vault tracks for a couple days, the more I listen to Say Don’t Go the more it feels like it was written for some stupid Scottish DJ or the Red Scarf thief 👀 everything else is about a certain long haired idiot

I hear the click in shake it off too (only when I'm wearing headphones) and I feel it in my throat/neck and it doesn't feel good too, I just prepare myself for it now lol

The “clicking” you hear in the background of Shake It Off is the muted cowbell they buried a bit deeper in the mix. Doesn’t bug me but with my headphones i can actually hear it as the bell.

The pen clicks in Blank Space sound quieter to me. She managed to make Clean sound even more magical and beautiful. I'm obsessed with how Wonderland and New Romantics sound. Also the way she growls when she says “and we run” in I know places, love it so much.

1989 is my Stan album, it's got the golden 7, those seven songs i play on a loop and they make me feel like I'm on another plant! You know which ones!! I listened to this album on the first day of my first real job, so terrifying and she was right there next to me, on the radio. Other albums are amazing but nothing tops this one for me!
