Lighter and shakes releasing so close to each other truly was a whiplash- lighter genuinely feels like I’m being plucked off of the ground and lifted up As for shakes, idk if this makes sense but I am in love with the movement of the song- honestly that’s all I could think about after my first listen The universe luke creates is immaculate & I want to live there 😭

Anna Sofie

“your touch is deadly and i wanna call, is it better to feel this or feel nothing at all?” is giving me “call me in the morning, yeah, i’m sorry that i let you down. i’m so apathetic, it’s pathetic, but i need you now” 🥲

Ella Rosoff

what you said about luke's songs sounding like whole universes is so true. idk how the heck he does it but his music is so layered and detailed and beautiful that it creates a whole world in your head. he truly is a special artist and i am so excited for his EP.

Can we talk about the fact that boy comes out literally the week after TTPD does?? Also, the thumbnail of this video is actually what I was like listening to both tracks for the first time. Like Lighter is just one big dance party vibe that feels like summer encapsulated in a song, meanwhile Shakes literally hit right in the feels in the best way possible. It feels like floating in a dream scape and I want to live there 🥺😩💙

Listened to Lighter on my headphones while waiting in line in Starbucks, and I subconsciously started dancing when the synths kicked in. Yes, people were staring lol

are you planning on reacting to Ashton's album? It was really good!
