What's so fab about rig updates? (Patreon)

This is more of a fun little render I whipped up quickly. This is from some work I'm doing on the backend while I get ready to work on the traffic piece everyone voted for!
I used to just append Caroline from versions of animations where I thought she looked best, and I had to undo a lot of animation or project specific things, but now, I have a blend file of just Caroline that I can append directly from, and whenever I need to make updates to the model, I do it in the original blend file rather than the animation. If I need to make changes in the animation, it doesn't touch the original.
I also touched up shaders, redid her hair, and a lot of this is actually invisible, but I've updated the rig big time to enable more expressive and dynamic face poses.I've been limited to just shape key poses for a while now, but I've recently discovered a fun tool within AutoRigPro that lets me bind the model to the rig, which mostly includes face bones. These bones originally just controlled shape keys, but now it can actually deform Caroline's face to my hearts content.
This isn't really a finished sequence and I have no plans on completing it, a lot of this work is being done so that I can get the ball rolling on the traffic jam sequence!so she'll finally be a giant blueberry at the end of the next sequence, I'm really excited to begin working on a new large berry model with all of my advancements in texturing too, I'm super excited
Alright, until next time, stay cool :)plus the bonus pic at the end is a little experiment I did with Marvelous Designer's new seam popping feature. It's cool and all but it needs a lot of work after the fact. I'll probably be using it in the Traffic Jam sequence since I'll already be using it to create the outfit and simulate around the big blueberry stuff
