Hello Family!

We found a talented musician on Fiverr and commissioned a possible theme song for the comic. We wanted to share it with you and see what your thoughts were on it. We hope you're having a great week!

-Bryan & Simon

AJ & Magnus Theme Song Lyrics:

AJ & Magnus
Today’s the day for adventure
AJ & Magnus
We can climb and run all day
AJ & Magnus
What will we see on this venture
AJ & Magnus
Oh no! Watch out for that—

At the end of the day
Even when we’re feeling grey
We’ve got Dad & Pop
And they always know what to say
Our adventure awaits
And whatever comes our way
Got your back & you’ve got mine
So we’ll be just fine !

AJ & Magnus
Today’s the day for adventure
AJ & Magnus
We can climb and run all day
AJ & Magnus
What will we see on this venture
Got your back & you’ve got mine
So we’ll be just fine !

AJ & Magnus
Today’s the day for adventure
AJ & Magnus
Yeah we’ll be just fine!

And upon this relisten (by phone now!), I think it sounds like Jennifer Hale is singing!

hehe nice, that makes me think of OLD ANIME INTRO THEME SONG!

I think this is pretty awesome! I love the idea of a theme song and this is a really good one! IMHO: The lyric bit where she sings "oh no, watch for that..." seems a little slow and not quite punchy enough compared to the speed of the rest of the song? So maybe if it was a bit faster and had a relieved or excited sort of "whoa!" (maybe with a couple of overlapping vocals?) at the end to make up for the time loss in speeding the lyric up, it would fit in way better. Other than that I think it's a perfect fit for the comic!

Thank you. We've listened to it a hundred times and have our own feedback as well. I agree, that part is cute, but could be worked into the song better I think.

The "watch out for that" part seems a little awkward, but otherwise I think it's a really cute song :)

Is it just me, but it sounds like "Thank you for being a friend". Golden Girls rules!

Could do with upping the tempo and being more energetic. There's a strong 80s feel to the lyrics and singing style, but without the 80s synth, it feels empty. Lyrically, the word "venture" is out of character with the rest of the song. And that "Look out for that-" is clearly meant to go with a visual because without an animation of something about to happen, it's just plain weird. And as others have said, the line isn't sung with the requisite level of "OOPS!". And I've finally worked out what it reminds me of - it's trying to be Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers.

Hubby and I both agree it does seem fairly child/younger person oriented and the comic often has or portrays a number of adult themes. Please don't do away with the adult/mature themes (such as unemployment and so forth)

This is a first version of the song, we wanted to share it to get your feedback before we go back to the creator :)

Great Fun listen! I can so see this being for the ANIMATED SERIES!! I can almost see it now!! My bit of advice is probably removing the "just" from FINE, unless I need to get used to it or think it should be slightly quicker or rearranged. But Yes it's Brilliant and Wonderful!! Fun different Treat!

I love it and it’s catchy .. it’s kinda hard to Picture without the visual elements .. but it’s punchy enough .. I do agree with some Of the other comments on here too .. it generally it’s a great song a few tweaks and you’ve got something to work from 👍
