"Who knows what “school environment” or “dissatisfaction with academic instruction” actually mean? Those sound a lot like “low reading levels” from before." This is a great point, and there is reason to suspect the motivations of many supporters of these programs, buuuut. "Just to be clear, I haven’t stopped teaching, I just stopped following someone else’s curriculum. I’ve been doing this for five years now." This then shows that there are many who want to provide alternative education with noble intent. I just feel that your summary steps on one of your final points unintentionally. All in all, great script, and I did learn some new things and look at others differently.
