So, I’m playing a Warlock/Paladin multiclass.

MMS

Cool. Wait, two different patrons, or…?

Trish

No, just the one for both. Devotion Paladin, then originally I was thinking Celestial Warlock, then Archfey or Genie, but eventually I picked Hexblade. Kind of.

MMS

“Kind of”?

Trish

Flavour-wise, the patron isn’t actually in the weapon. The weapon is remotely empowered by the extraplanar patron and my own Paladin oath.

MMS

Seems overcomplicated, but if you can power through the technobabble, then sure.

Trish

I will power through it! Also, I’m going Pact of the Blade for a magically-conjured weapon, and then I’m flavouring my actual Hexblade weapon to be a magical amulet that summons a weapon when I’m wielding it. Same for my Sacred Weapon Channel Divinity. Oh, and I’m doing all Conjuration spells.

Really went all-in on summoning, huh?

Well, it all fits with my Paladin oath.
