MMS

Okay, so, you’re playing a Warlock, you said?

Trish

Yep. Pact of the Chain.

MMS

You play a lot of Warlocks.

Trish

Hey, cut me some slack, it’s hard to keep a step ahead of you.

MMS

Y’know, you could always just play a normal character.

Trish

No. Anyway, my guy is this kinda scrappy, desperate type. Urchin background — that gives him Sleight of Hand and Stealth proficiency, but I also gave him the Skilled feat to give him proficiency in Acrobatics, Athletics, and Survival.

MMS

Uh-huh. Pact of the Chain? Got a familiar?

Trish

Yup. Specifically a monkey that helps him steal.

MMS

So he’s a thief.

Trish

Well, kinda. He only steals what he needs and can’t pay for. Although… yeah, I guess that’s basically everything.

MMS

He’s starting to sound more Rogue than Warlock.

Trish

No, definitely a Warlock. See, he was thrown in a dungeon, but there he found a cave where his patron was imprisoned.
