Transcript below:

Trish

So, I’m going with a bit of a unique class concept this time.

MMS

What do you mean?

Trish

So, my character’s a Ranger, but I was thinking he’s specifically, like, an ex-Ranger.

MMS

You’re gonna have to unpack this one for me.

Trish

Well, basically, my guy used to be super adventurous and loved, like, diving into the unknown and seeing the vastness of the world, but then a monster from the wilderness killed his family, so now he lives in, like, mortal terror of exploration and adventure.

MMS

Weird choice of backstory for a D&D adventurer.

Trish

Well, recently, another creature from the wilderness recently made off with the last of what my character has remaining of his family, so now he’s trying to overcome his fear to retrieve what’s been lost.

Tony

Wow, that’s almost exactly the opposite of my character!

MMS

What’s your character like?

Tony

Well, I’m playing a super chill and happy-go-lucky Bard. Total sweetheart, not a care in the world. Just keep goin’, don’t focus on the bad stuff, that’s her philosophy.
