CatScratch Late 2024 Roadmap (Patreon)

Forward: its 4:51AM and I'm just brainspewing thoughts that have been swirling around in my head, if you have any specific questions about details I might have missed please let me know!!!!

So I've been riding the high of finishing the Femboy PMV, and as you saw in my last big post, reflecting on why I ran into so many struggles to finish it.

For a bit of context, CatScratch turned 7 years old in 2024, which includes a lengthy hiatus pre-covid, but when that whole mess gave me a window to revisit it in 2020. With months WFH, I had the luxury to pump out work, build a fanbase, and end up where I am today, with all your loving support.

Fast forward to today, we're back to work, burnt out, sick of the world, and trying to figure out a way forward. I've had several life upheavals between now and then, but with an incredible support system, team, and ambitious I'm looking incredibly hopeful for the near future!

The key difference in approach this time around is addressing the previously mentioned struggle with losing focus on a project as other ideas spring to mind. The bright side I suppose to this year's struggle is the backlog of fantastic ideas that have been marinating in my head. So I hope this flexible approach will let me meander through different projects to keep my attention fresh, and editing as I go really sparked the ability to improve throughout a project, so I hope to use that for these future projects!

So, enough yapping about me (thank you for reading though), let's talk about these projects shall we??

• DnD ProjectAs you may have read in previous plans, there's been a long time buzz for some monster plowing, and we're going to finally bring that to fruition with a DnD style film. This is also the first film that will feature the entire CS cast, "off-duty" in this case I suppose.

The cast will be at the final stages of a DnD play session, where a trap sends them into individual rooms, facing a cast of demonic foes. They'll each use their skills and "abilities" to find a way to group up again and face the final boss.

I hope to employ a lot of on screen text, perhaps in the style of Baldur's Gate and employ some comedic sex writing, inspired by the many recent examples of excellent writing in nsfw creations.

Due to this desire for more dialogue/character development, there likely won't be a VA component due to cost/length.

• E-girl PMV

When I decided to create a femboy PMV (to address the lack of homoerotism in recent content), I always knew I wanted to follow up with an e-girl version. This one will be following an established editing format + song that some of you degens may recognize, so that will make planning/filming a lot simpler, so expect updates from this soon. The format also combines videos and photo which I always felt SL photos were a step above, due to the control you have, so having the opportunity to feature that in a video will be exciting~

What's left for PMVs after this? Not sure, but I expect to see it return in 2025, I always felt like PMVs focused around a theme was the best, perhaps a Rule 34 one featuring the cast of DD's AVs could be fun?

• Ultimate Mating LeagueHoly crap, it's back?? It's back. Something requested by a lot of fans, we're finally bringing back UML, with a three stage release. We're gonna start with a training montage/interview/UML prep video with Rosie and Lalana, reminding folks of the finale that we never finished back in... anyone wanna take a guess? March 2021.

Then we're gonna detour to a fake "Highlights of the Week" video, featuring VA work from Neb and Dreev parodying the hype energy you might have seen in the video game "The Finals". I really really really liked the world building (what little of it) going on in there, and the fake reality TV show/gameshow vibe is what I want to bring to the world of CatScratch UML, which by then hopefully BPR would have figured itself out more.

So then leads to the third stage, the finale between Lalana and Rosie. I'm currently worried about finding a set/stadium to film in, but we have time to figure that out, that reminds me to go check out something on sale this weekend...

• Other ProjectsSo that only talks about our big video projects, you'll still expect lots of photos, short clips, etc between all that, our usual stuff~

But we also have a potential Intamaly collab in the works, just waiting to see any renders so I'm holding my breath, but that would be sick!

We've also been creating this SL standees, something cute to have in world of your favorite model :3 If these sell well we'll certainly make another series in a few months, maybe working in some collabs? 👁️👁️

But yeah I also recently found out Wix allows NSFW websites, I always knew I was skirting the line with Adobe Portfolio, and with the recent "failure" with Primfeed, and the constant closure of online spaces, I'm thinking about creating an invite online host for all your favorite SL content creators :3 but we'll see~
