And I'm building the central hub/website for Second Life Furry Machinima. Finally.It has been radio silence for too long, but holy is it worth it? (radio silence on here per say, been plenty of updates on our Discord!)Some of you have tuned into what's been going on but this an OPEN BROADCAST to anyone and everyone who's had a place for SL Machinima in their heart.If you've needed to hear some good news, let this be it!The site is real, it's live, hosted on adult-friendly service providers, it's happening!I had bit of a mental snap finally a couple of weeks ago, and resigned from my job which I've been at for over a decade. It's a sore departure, but I haven't felt this free and motivated in such a long time.It's not designed to be another P*rnhub, or an FA/DA clone, nor it is a Twitter/BSKY replacement. It's something unique, special, and created for Second Life Machinima!It's designed from the start to be as pleasing to use on desktop and mobile browsers, completely giving you a peaceful place to enjoy browsing. You can leave the ragebait behind, or the feed you can never seem to control, you can SEARCH for what you want. We can finally have everything we've been envious on, but better. It's time to flip the table.Rough timeline, I just been communicating with the talented creators around us, and have signed on about 30-40 creators. My final day/notice is on Friday, so I'm a bit split focused until then, but I've made incredible progress so far with that restriction, so we're aiming to start onboarding creators around the 13th, then the wider launch/awareness sometime very soon after that. Creators first, then fans, we're skipping the awkward first month of a new art platform where people spend days spamming/uploading their archive.Things are moving fast, if you have any questions, @ me in the Discord!Existing patron members will have (ethical) premium features from day one, but don't worry if money is extremely right now, the free experience will not get in the way of enjoying art (think e621). But if you do have some spare resources, or got that subscription you were meaning to cancel, and you can see the vision and value of the adult-friendly digital third space we're building here, then please 🙏 there has never been a more impactful moment than now to renew/start a subscription. (Membership tiers and rewards will be transformed very soon.)BUT! If you want to hold off and wait and see (I mean, the site is live now... just don't make an account quite yet) I completely understand, but any early investment from now would help ease any anxiety about this mission, and give me the confidence to plow through with developing one of the best adult-friendly spaces online. Cause tell me with a straight face, accessing adult content right now is an absolute misery, help me help everyone, starting with the Second Life Machinima/Photography Community (imagine this website template being rolled out to another niche communities... this could just be the beginning)Thank you for your time. And trust me, the content isn't going anywhere, I'm not stepping back to go fully into web dev, I just so desperately want a place where I can upload more than a minute of video.
