📌 RTWC Mod – Quick FAQ

1️⃣ Game is crashing on launch — how to fix?

Remove all other mods and all other squads

Crashes may occur due to FIFA Mod Manager

➡️ Fix: Install the latest Live Editor and enable “Auto Launch Live Editor” when launching the mod.

2️⃣ Game is crashing after selecting a team to start a tournament

This usually happens due to corrupted Live Editor files.

➡️ Fix:

Delete your Live Editor folder for FC26

Re-extract the latest Live Editor files

Launch the mod again

3️⃣ My game isn’t launching — how do I fix it?

✅ Step 1: Add Antivirus Exclusions (Folders Only)

Add exclusions for these exact folders (not individual files):

The game’s installation folder

The FIFA Mod Manager folder

%localappdata%/FIFA Editing Toolsuite

The Live Editor folder (if you use it)

🔄 Step 2: If it still doesn’t launch, try these one at a time:

Restart your PC

If you’re not using Live Editor, enable it with “Auto-launch with Live Editor”

If you are using it → Open Live Editor → Settings → Launcher → Disable “Show Warning at startup”

Repair the game

In Mod Manager → Click arrow next to Launch → Delete FIFAModData and Launch

Clear EA App / Steam cache

Switch EA App / Steam to offline mode (or online if already offline)

Delete everything inside:%localappdata%/FIFA Editor Tool/Caches

Update Windows

Reinstall EA App / Steam

Reinstall the game

4️⃣ Can I use this with other mods?

Use at your own risk.We do not guarantee compatibility and provide no support for mixed-mod issues.

5️⃣ Why can't I find added NTs in kick off or tournament mode?

Place the squad file here: C:\Users<yourname>\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26\Settings Then in-game: Settings → Profile -> Load Squads → SquadsRTWC Click on SquadsRTWC in Load Squads screen Then in-game: Settings → Profile -> Save Squads → SquadsRTWC Click on SquadsRTWC in Save Squads screen

6️⃣ Can I use other squad files?

❌ No. Only use the squad file included with this mod.

7️⃣ Squad file is corrupted — what to do?

Add this to EA/Steam launch options:-dataPath FIFAModData

Make sure you're using the latest version of the mod.

8️⃣ Why can’t I edit NT squads or call up players?

EA bug — not fixable by mods.
