Good Sunday, Patrons!

This week, our intention is a little more quiet and reflective than the last few weeks have been. There isn't anything we are trying to do per se...instead, we are just trying to observe the change that is happening in the sessions and within ourselves.

Personally, I have been feeling a quiet shift this week. How about you? Something within me is opening and moving. Such is the energy of the autumnal season. As we move into the darker half of the year, what is evolving within you?

So much love for you all!

Namaste, Kae

Thank you for this, Kae. Your timing, as usual, is impeccable as you articulate some of the issues and transitions through which I have been moving of late. Coming out of an extended period of emotional challenges, I am recently better able to expand my focus from just getting through each day to a more longitudinal view. This view is both prospective as I make plans for slowly-percolating, highly desired long-term life changes and retrospective as I address longer-term historical stressors that underlie my current emotional challenges. As the noise of everyday life has finally begun to dim, at least for now, I find old memories cropping up about difficult issues yet to be resolved. They are providing me with fuel for understanding better whence the issues came and keys to understanding how to disarm them, make peace, and send them out of my path and into the past where dimensions of my health need them to be. I have experienced several pleasant and rewarding instances of my growth over the last fifteen years or so in recent weeks. In these circumstances, I have had to deal with certain people and/or dynamics who have caused me great pain over parts of my life. In each circumstance, I was able to live out the lessons of courage, positivity, and calmly speaking truth whether such was welcomed by the listener or not. I will no longer maintain a toxic silence for the benefit of the perpetrator's or collaborator's comfort level (spoiler alert: I told my father exactly why his wife is dead to me). I file this lesson and others under "self-respect." This, indeed, is a season in which I hope to continue to let dark and dried leaves fall away so that the brilliant winter sunshine can reach my roots. Sorry to be vague as to the specifics, but I hope that I am describing my feelings, processes, and goals clearly enough to be understood. I am grateful to be in this sacred space with you. Thank you for opening it. Although I missed the first pre-meditation chat, I plan to be available if possible next week. I am guessing that I will be voting in favor of biweekly sessions. Blessings and love. Namaste. - Alec
