this show has the worst release format of all time, and it is basically doomed to fail. With as little anime we are watching recently, we might not want to waste time on this one as much as it pains us to say. Hopefulyl it picks up in popularity, but it seems like no one even knows where or how to watch it and reactions for it are getting like 500 views. Lets hope this thing explodes!

BOLDcast Lazarus Ep 1 UNCUT REACTION!

WB gotta learn it's not the 90s/00s anymore. Can't just air a show on late night cable. The "big" anime this season is probably fire force season 3, and for non sequels the only series that might've been good are your forma, Anne Shirley, and Kowloon generic romance. Which are all niche. Kowloon mightve been able to gain a following, but they're trying to finish an incomplete 10+ vol series in 13 ep. It's going to fall apart at some point. Summer season is much better.

I'll probably wait for Lazarus to finish airing before diving in. Adult Swim is so messy and hard to know if its gonna be worth it. This Season of Anime has a sensational crop of Anime Openings. Hope you check out some, like Yaiba (from Wit Studio and the Mob Psycho 100 Staff works on the show and looks incredible in general) or Witch Watch OP, which is directed by one of the best young Directors in the Industry and song provided by Yoasobi of course lol I love Boldcast Opening/Ending reactions and miss seeing them. I guess Copyright on youtube is probably very annoying, but I love the insight and disussions you 2 have on the numerous opening reactions you had over the years. I still watch the Gintama OP/ED reaction video every now and then

lol, I was sure that it will be movie, not a series 😅

Yeah I dont expect lazarus to get particulary popular. I dont think it will "flop" per se, but i doubt it will even be as popular as Carole and tuesday. And related to that i will probably wait until it all comes out as the more modern shows from watanabe have been uuuhhh inconsistent for me to say the least, and this first episode didnt really hook me, so i will wait to see if people will still enjoy it when it finishes. And like others have said i dont think there are many other great {non sequel} shows to react to this season. Not that there arent seemingly good new shows, there are, but more like they seem focused on a particular audience and might not exactly get all that popular {kowloon for example}. Yaiba seems like it has some hype behind it considering its a remake with honestly the best animation of the season, but it is "dated" in some things it does and considering its a fairly usual shounen i have some doubts it will continue the {not even that big} hype after a few episodes. Related to that i have also seen a lot of people talking about to be hero x, which is a chinese show with also pretty great animation and an honestly pretty nice first episode, so i guess you could give that one a try as well. Seemingly a lot of reactors are watching it and the views seem... fine lol. Better than others shows this season but not anything particulary amazing. So yeah, i dont think there is any must show this season to react for you guys. And honestly OP, apothecary and orb are already kinda the perfect list of shows i would want to watch from you guys so im quite content lol

Btw Ninja Kamui wasn't Watanabe, it was Sunghoo Park (director of JJK S1). Watanabe's last show was Carole & Tuesday.

Yaiba is so peak so far, omg the animation

charlie

man the first 4 or 5 episodes of Ninja Kamui was great and then it stopped being ninjas at all

At least it's not as bad as shows like I have a Crush at Work. I swear it's like these services want their shows to fail on purpose.

I know big reactors who are holding off on this show due to the failure of Ninja Kamui

Where did you find the japanese version?, I can't find this version on the usual websites...
