And there's the name drop for Law's ability, the Op Op fruit. Leave it to Oda to create a devil fruit themed around "surgical operations" and make it absurdly badass and busted. It feels real similar to what Oda did with Kuma, he really went beyond what anyone would generally expect from a fruit that gives you paw pads for hands.

In the fishman podcast, when boldcast was first mentioning about what their expectations for the new world would be, I am surprised they never talked about the super nova's. Law being present at punk hazard creates an even more multi-layered dynamic to the narrative and adding smoker and tashigi in the midst even makes it more interesting. We are not just centering on the straw hats anymore, the world has expanded, and I think oda is going to reflect that, moving forward.

What a display of power. Its like law possess 3 abilities in one with his DF. I have heard time and time again from the community about the personality switches that take place in this arc, but I never knew it was law's ability that did that. This guy is just broken, lmao.

Brook is already showing his worth as an honorary straw hat in this arc aside from just being relegated to skull jokes and comedic moments. He seems to have refined his skills to the point where he could generate flying slashes and even use warp speed during swordplay. I also don't think we have ever seen that ice ability before. Anyways it’s really cool. (no pun intended). I know zoro is the main swordsman of the crew, but I still can't wait to see what type of style and technique brook adds to the crew’s dynamic.

as a new viewer without knowledge of the manga, I can attest that these do not seem that slow to me. Every episode, there are quite a few developments that are happening. The proof is in my comments above. If I had to nitpick one thing, its probably the scene where the kids and nami's group are running down the halls to escape the lab, but thats typical one piece oda padding so its probably similar in the manga.
