Love Dofflamingo toying with the Punk Hazard bunch, although it's always goofy to think that he might have had to harden his ass with armament to be able to sit on top of Smoker lol. Perfect mastermind villains are fun but rarely interesting imo, the best villains are ones with realistic flaws and hints of vulnerability. You guys are in for a real treat with Doflamingo.

I think Lindsay meant the Dressrosa connection with Kin'emon could be related to Momo having apparently met Doflamingo at some point. The line was ''Stay with me'' in english but is more accurately translated as Keep it together or Get ahold of yourself.

To me Punk Hazard is not bad at all, it's just not as good as everything after, because One Piece is just that good. It think this gets conflated by the casual commenter who can't distinguish 'bad' from 'worse.' There might be a minority who actually hate it, but every arc is the best arc when it's the most recent.

Smoker definitely got stronger, but you're right about him not leveling up as much as Luffy or Law. After all, Smoker stated after Enies Lobby that his goal was to rank up within the Navy (now getting to Vice Admiral), so he probably had to split his time between the politics of that, and training (while Luffy spent the entire time training).
