You have finally been introduced to Gear 4. Did its appearance and moveset meet your expectations? What further upgrades or attacks do you think Luffy will achieve in future arcs?

John Spartan

Did Doflamingo lived up to your expectations as a villain?

Annie

Many people rate Doflamingo as the best One Piece villain. Would you agree? (based on what you’ve watched, so obviously excluding later arcs)

Carlos Rojas

Thoughts on this arcs pacing?

Oussama Essamadi

First of all, congratulations on this milestone guys, for a long time Dressrosa was THE arc that got people claiming they caught up to One qpiece and to see tou guys here is surreal after anticipating you watch the show for years. Pacing scaling. Dressrosa, Enies Lobby or Thriler Bark? Do you guys aggree on the sentiment that Dressrosa is just Alabasta reskin? How do you feel about Sabo's dementia plot point? How has Dofflamingo as a character aged for you ever since he did the pug walk when he was first introduced at the end of Jaya? Gear 4, smash or pass?

Lūthér Hölâyèãhmé

You have seen another instance of devil fruit awakenings from Doflamingo. What are your thoughts on this further escalation of the One Piece powerscale?

Veritas

Would you consider Doflamingo the most evil character in One Piece so far? How does that mesh with how charismatic and popular he still pulls off being among fans?

a

I know you guys have already talked about this throughout many reactions but the pacing really is the elephant in the room for Dressrosa, and Im curious on how much it took away from your enjoyment of the arc? Im sure you guys were told how bad the pacing would get ever since starting episode 1, did it live up to the hype lol?

pkblacksteel143

What are your predictions for Kaido and his abilities ? And why do you think he tried to kill himself ? And what do you think his relationship with the other Three emperors (excluding Blackbeard) are like ?

Lūthér Hölâyèãhmé

Doflamingo is regarded as a fan favorite villain in the One Piece community. Do you also think highly of him? Or do you believe he is overrated?

Tate Wheatley

Which one of you is going to play Trebol in the live action?

JoanneLorac

What do you think the Strawhat Grand Fleet have in regards to the future of the story? Can you rank them on favourism?

Powered By Rice

did the entire arc actually lasted 1 day despite being 100 episodes long?

100Rainy

Your thoughts on Bellamy's return to the story? By the end of it all were you satisfied with his return and role in Dressrosa or should Oda have left him back on Jaya?

100Rainy

So what's your verdict on the Donquixote Family as a whole? How do they stack up against other antagonist groups from the past? Was Doffy's bond with each of them as genuine as he claimed or were they simply "useful" puppets under Doffy's control?

Andrew lu

Told ya the pacing is ass. Goddam should have watched the one pace.

ImZeaT

sybau 💔🥀

Zoodinger

Looks like the Samurais are here to stay for a while. How do you feel about that?

Kat DeLaney

In previous discussions you’ve talked about Law being one of the Supernovas you were most interested in seeing more of. Now that we’ve spent some time with him and learned about his past has he lived up to your expectations? Are there any other Supernovas you would be interested in exploring as part of the story in a similar fashion?

Chriz

thoughts on if Big Mom and Kaido have devil fruits?!?! If you think they do then what ??, if not then, why do you think so?

Chriz

Thoughts on who could fill in Doflamingos spot as a warlord?!?!?!

BoldCast

After seeing a few backstories this arc, what are your top 3 so far ?

100Rainy

How do you feel with Law's contributions in fighting Doflamingo? This was a rare instance where Luffy had substantial help in defeating the main villain of the arc. Were you a bit let down that Luffy got the final blow as usual or was Law offering support throughout the fight good enough?

Sanji Joestar

Thoughts on the Strawhats we focused on during this arc and their overall role for the story? And what do you expect for the Twirly Hat Crew(Sanji's group)?

John Ortega

Dressrosa is by far the longest arc in One Piece, with a total of 117 episodes. For perspective, the entire Summit War saga (Sabaody to Marineford) is 132 Episodes. Fishman Island is the second-longest arc at 51 episodes, and Punk Hazard is up there in length as well. How do you feel about the arcs after the time skip getting longer and longer?

Sanji Joestar

Doflamingo's story feels like a step up from elements introduced through Hody Jones during FMI, what are your thoughts on Rosinante's declaration that he is 'born evil' ? Do you think he still believed that at the end ?

Sanji Joestar

In a story where " A man dies when he's forgotten ", how terrifying is the concept of losing all your memories of someone you knew?

Sanji Joestar

Doflamingo taught Law that ''The weak don't get to chose how they die '', What does that say about Characters like Roger and Whitebeard?

Melvin De Castro

Do you think Luffy has a chance against Kaido? What do you think he needs to defeat him?

Darknessflames706

How has your perception of senor pink changed from the beginning of this arc to the end? And do you think oda did enough with his backstory to turn you around on his character?

100Rainy

Please share your spiciest Dressrosa hot takes (if you have any). What would you have changed or added to improve any critiques you had with the arc?

bcerkezler

What do you think about Law? Which other supernova do you want to see expanded upon story wise?

Loserdoo

Do you think Princess Mansherry could bench 315?

Terskstar

What do you think about the group of Colosseum mercenaries who ended up becoming important characters? Do you think leaving half of the Straw Hats out of the arc was a good decision to give those characters more spotlight?

megalazyguy

how do you feel about half the strawhats being gone for most of the arc and after usopp unlocked haki what (if any) strawhat do you think will next

Tugo

Your top 3 Dressrosa characters?

Matess

Now that you have been introduced to Fujitora, how would you compare him to the other admirals and where would you put him on the favorism scale? Bonus question, what are your expectations for the second uknown admiral?

Sum Ting Wong

Now with all emperors introduced. What is your opinion on each of the 4 emperors thus far, and how do you stack their influence and power with others (marines / revolutionary army)

Arkham

I want to jump off this one and see if there’s any speculation as to what other awakenings could look like

Ty

This arc really highlighted one of Luffy’s greatest strengths (the ability to have others gravitate towards him). From the Grand Fleet to Issho, he makes an lasting impact. I am curious, what is it about Luffy that draws you to him as a character? What makes him different from other main characters in shonen stories?

Sonicluis

How do you feel about all the new characters added in this arc, and how they all got moments and fights. I’ve never understood it or liked it until after the arc ended.

Lovis999

What do you think, what Luffy's next gear could be?

Lūthér Hölâyèãhmé

Oh yeah they have probably recorded episodes ahead of time and know about the Grand Fleet

Lūthér Hölâyèãhmé

Who is your favorite Doflamingo pirate member, aside from Doflamingo? Who is your favorite Grand Fleet member?

Szonin

When will you cosplay a One Piece character and which one?

EJ

One Pace is said to cut the Dressrosa arc from 118 episodes to around 50. With this in mind, and having watched the entire arc now (which is the longest so far), how much appeal is there for you to revisit the arc in a more abridged version (considered more faithful to the manga) just to see how different it is? Also, do you think Toei should remaster this arc like they did Fish Man Island?

unlucker

Doflamin-G-o, thats the G!

Jesse Smith

What are some of your favorite 'small' moments from the arc? For example, mine is when Fujitora says he wishes he hadn't blinded himself in order to see Luffy's face.

Monkey D.offy Lucci

One Piece Live Action Question! Will Bartolomeo appear or be referenced in OPLA season 2 since this arc revealed him witnessing Luffy’s “execution” in Lougetown? Any prediction on what could be shown earlier in the live action than in the manga/anime, i.e. Brook and the Rumbar Pirates in Laboon’s flashback? Could Dragon be revealed as Luffy’s father in Lougetown?

beannie

What were the highlights of the arc for you? (For example, a character moment that had a strong impact on you, or something in the plot that really excited you and that you’d like to see developed further in the future.)

Mai rioghain

Back at episode 700, Doflamingo said CP-0 obeyed him because he knows of the important national treasure located inside Mariejois. Furthermore, had the Ope-Ope fruit fallen into his hands, he wouldve used that, while utilizing said national treasure, to take the world by its helm. What, and how, do you think Doflamingo meant to do, given the fruit?

100Rainy

Near the end of the arc Fujitora finally revealed his reasoning for not getting too involved with stopping Doflamingo. Do you think his gamble was worth it? Could he have done more to help out while still achieving his goal of exposing the world government's hypocrisies?

Matthew Gilroy

What are your thoughts on Doflamingo and Enel, both characters who liken themselves to Gods?

Matthew Gilroy

It is quite interesting that Aokiji, freeing Robin in the past, and being the inspiration behind gear 2 and 3 which later freed Robin in the present, is now allied with Blackbeard whose character is based on freedom. How do you see Aokiji's character to be explored in the future, as well as the other OG Admirals?

Matthew Gilroy

In this arc the theme of moral ambiguity and the contradiction of humanity continues to be explored. It's not as simple as "pirate good, marine/world government bad" (Fujitora, Rosinante, Sengoku, Donquixote Homing, Luffy, all complex characters to name a few). How do you think these ideas can be expanded into the show's lore, for example the void century?

Matthew Gilroy

Eh, Water 7 and Enies Lobby are the same thing really, and that's around 100 eps

BOLDcast

Tf is that supposed to mean bruh

BOLDcast

Yeah we post the podcast questions when we finish recording the last ep of an arc

BOLDcast

“WHY IS HE TELLING THE TRUTH” We’re not gonna watch One pace ever, though. That would ruin the journey

BOLDcast

Th idea that Manshery can bench double what I can is a sobering thought 🥀🥀

Samrathpal Singh Thind

When Jesus burgess said he is going to steal luffy’s fruit, he was holding a knife and bag around his neck. Do u think this confirms the theory about devil fruit respawning to nearest fruit, if yes the why doesn’t other factions use it. For example:- world government with impel down prisoners and doflamingo with law, especially him as he needed law’s devil fruit to achieve his world domination plan.

Fabulous

Who is your favorite new character introduced in this arc?

Artemis

Why does Admiral Fujitora choose to "bet" on the Straw Hats rather than taking direct action himself, and what does this say about his personal brand of justice compared to Akainu’s?

Artemis

How did the absence of Sanji, Nami, Chopper, and Brook for a large portion of the arc impact the dynamic of the story?

Artemis

Doflamingo mentions a "national treasure" in Mariejois that could shake the world. Based only on what we know so far, what could possibly be that dangerous?

Artemis

How does Sabo’s introduction change the dynamic of the "ASL" (Ace, Sabo, Luffy) brotherhood, and was inheriting the Mera Mera no Mi the right choice for his character? Also imo an example of oda intentionally using ambiguity during his "death" to hide the fact that he is still alive. One of the choices that was purely an intentional setup rather than an improvisation.

Sanji Joestar

This is the first arc where the events occurring are caused by the Strawhats' direct influence and actions (destruction of SAD, Doflamingo 'retiring' from the warlords causing the Tontattas to rebel, the tournament for the Flare Flare fruit being a trap for Luffy etc.). What does that say about the way the Strawhats affect the story compared to before?

Sanji Joestar

By the way his brand of Justice is referred to as ''Humane Justice''

Sanji Joestar

That's a great one Mine is when Robin is just smiling under the flowers as she sacrificed her back for Rebecca.

Artemis

This is such a great point of discussion to get into. If its not my question I do hope they talk about it in their podcast. As a first timer to the DR arc, Fujitora is probably one of my most favorite admirals because of his sence of justice being so different. His blindness further highlights that as well because he "sees" the world for what it is and that the system itself is what’s hurting the citizens. But anyways lets let boldcast take it away.

millecamps

what do you think of sengoku replacing his paper eating goat pet by a gorilla?

Monkey D.offy Lucci

How did yall felt about Sanji now after PH arc and this arc?

Abraham Lever

After this arc how do you rank Doflamingo amongst the other OP villains you’ve seen so far?

ChocoBoshi

What are your thoughts on how Sabo's character was handled from Luffy's flashback post Marineford until his reintroduction here?

Artemis

In the first half of Dressrosa, Oda masterfully interweaves a large number of subplots; the Colosseum gladiators, the mystery of the toys, the Tontatta revolution, and Law’s strategic plan, creating a multifaceted narrative that feels like a complex symphony unlike anything we have seen before in the series. However, once the 'Birdcage' is activated, I personally felt this 'symphony' slows to a crawl, with the ticking clock trope, paradoxically making the story feel longer. Do you believe the sheer complexity of the early setup required that late-arc breathing room to resolve every thread, or did the Birdcage become a narrative trap that stretched the climax past its breaking point?

JoyBoy

What are your theories for the straw hat grand fleet going forward?

Monkey D.offy Lucci

Will you be watching any more of the One Piece Movies or related content like Episode 0 and Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation? I personally recommend Movie 4 before you watch One Piece Strong World.

BOLDcast

We plan to We just keep falling off our consistency whenever we want to try and switch up the schedule So we end up prioritizing the episodes if we can’t get anything else out, rather than trying to do everything at once But yes we plan to still do more of that stuff (Figured I’d answer here, even if we mention it in the podcast/in case we don’t)

ChocoBoshi

We have Film 4 in the side content document that we made for them. I was going to mention that people had been asking for both Film 4 and 7 but no one had asked in a while so I didn't. Great timing, haha.

Nicolas LeBlanc

At the end of the Dressrosa Arc we are introduced to Kaido and states: "If it's a one-on-one, Kaido will one" Shanks intercepted Kaido and stopped him from joining the Paramount War. Discuss

Monkey D.offy Lucci

It’s been awhile since I watched Movie 7 but I remember one thing about it.
