oh yeah look back !

Just a great movie overall, excited for you guys to watch the Anthology! Also for as how this relates to Fujimoto the two main protag's names are Fujino and Kyomoto, Fuji Moto! So happy you guys could relate to Fujino and Kyomoto quite a bit at the end montage, we love and appreciate your hardwork Boldcast! Merry Christmas!

omg i'm crying for you guys ... thank you for reaction so much

Tobi.SG

even the movie they watched in the theater was a callback to another Fujimoto one-shot called Goodbye Eri, the tragedy is also based on some real event but I forget the details

Aidos Smagulov

It’s a wonderful movie. Some people feel that both the manga and the movie reflect, in part, the Kyoto Animation arson attack, when a man assaulted the studio after believing his work had been plagiarized. Many lives were lost that day Thank you for your reaction!

Somehow gets me more on rewatches. Maybe cuz I know what's coming. It works as a winter movie though. Happy holidays!

It’s awesome seeing you guys finally react to this, it’s a great story, so is a lot of fujimoto’s other works, one that’s similar to this is called “goodbye Eri” and I hope it gets animated since it’s also a one shot by the goat and generally considered better but also very sad

Patrick Dawson

When people talk about Fujimito being 'the honoured one' they aren't kidding, there is another one shot of his getting adapted soon (I hope) which is going to be absolutely incredible. (Goodbye Eri)

Fujimoto has the unique talent of making something that's so weird and surreal yet so sincere and touching at the same time. His writing feels genuine, like he's not trying to appeal to anyone but just write and draw the ideas as they come to him

boredbeck

One thing that's lost imo because it was so subtle. Kyomoto might have studied in an art school so she can be a better background artist, for Fujino....she's studying to be better to be able to work as Fujino's assistant again, but with better skills.

Alma

Finally got around to watch this. What a devastatingly beautiful movie.
