Regarding Lancelot: Its not elaborated on anywhere in the series, mostly in multitudes of side materials. In essence, he was one of the most loyal knights to her cause, one she considered a friend. However, hes had an affair with Artoria's wife (dead marriage kept to hide her gender) Guinevere. Eventually that lead to the collapse of the Round Table, the rebellion by Mordred and Artoria's fall. Artoria is so distraught upon seeing him in Berserker class, because quallifying for Berserker class container requires affinity for madness in the Heroic Spirit. She knew little to nothing about such events as he fell to madness due to guilt over her demise, and wondered whether her rule caused her friend to go mad, whenther Rider and Archer were right after all and her kingship was deeply flawed.

The translation of Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasm as Anti-universe is a bit misleading. New materials released over the years further elaborated on concepts previously opaque and described in few words at best. Ea is defined as Anti-World Noble Phantasm, distinct from either Anti-Planet or Anti-Universe. We now know there exists a true Anti-Universe Noble Phantasm. However, the servant container cannot release the energy required to destroy either the planet or the universe. Anti-World is better termed anti-texture, and texture is basically a layer of reality eneveloping earth (yes there are multiple layers). This is probably why Ea is so effective against Iskander, as his Noble Phantasm is very close to a texture in concept.

Yeah I genuinely don’t think Gilgamesh needed to use Ea to beat Rider. I think it was just that he respected him enough to use it.
