tbf with a guy named after capone i wouldn't expect him to be kind. For some reason toei hates sanji and doesn't animate him as good and also adds additional nosebleed/pervy scenes the longer the anime goes the more the scenes are which is annoying as a manga reader.

They literally added simping scenes in multiple episodes cant even say them here cuz they are spoilers and removed some of his cooler scenes in the latest arc as well. If you really didnt know well you probably aren't a manga reader

Law doesn't have beef with Kaido, he only had beef with Doflamingo. He's still gonna help Luffy but it isn't personal anymore. He probably doesn't care about Caesar or his relationship with Kaido. All of the labs were destroyed.

I am, in fact, an *avid* manga/scans reader. 1. They are creating filler, one of the ways they can is to expand upon previously established character gags, which is what they are doing with Sanji, and with plenty of other characters. 2. I don't really know what to say to that one, they didn't remove any of his 'cooler scenes', that straight up just did not happen. 3. There's plenty of "not as good" animated scenes for big Luffy moments as well, it's not just for Sanji. In conclusion, to think that an entire studio, every member of its staff, and every independent contractors working on One Piece "hate on a character" is so childish it's absolutely baffling, and just isn't provable by actual evidence, this is actually delusional. (The *only* point where I can agree they did him dirty is when he was removed from the big group shot, but that is it...)

You are trying to bait me so hard to spoil some stuff about what they did sanji dirty if you really dont know what they removed and added and are fine by mediocrity then its a you problem. Im just happy with the remake coming. Its clear you are one of the people fine with padding and actually defend that even at the cost of a character being tarnished

No need to fight over this. The anime definitely does Sanji dirty on some things because of filler and padding. He's the easiest character for them to create extra scenes with, because the character gag and personality is more exploitable. There's a bigger ratio of inconsistent adaptation when it comes to him as a character because of that. Toei doesn't mess up Luffy's character for example by adding a filler of him copying Bellamy's springs. Or by having him being stupid for 20seconds. But they do mess up other characters such as Hody's backstory. The idea that they 'hate' him just stems from that even if It's definitely not accurate. It's the downside of weekly adaptation and filler. There's moments where they just contradict his character, like him fighting the newcomers in Kamabakka etc. Those events did not happen. All we know is he was tasked with stealing the recipe. And they tend to overdo some elements of his character even after a change is supposed to take effect. Which gives the audience a sense that he's just not learning/growing so they tend to disengage with him on the long run, especially weekly. So it's not one or two instances of bad adaptation but a lot over the years.

Yeah Law pretty much tricked Luffy into helping him defeat Doflamingo. He doesn't really seem to care about Kaido, Doflamingo seemed to be his true goal.

Kaido is still a mutual enemy though, Law should logically have an interest in taking him down because Kaido will want revenge for them beating Doflamingo, regardless of reason, personal or not.

@Sanji Joestar I mean he they said everything in their answer. It's the same with Brook. Brook becomes unbearable in the anime because of ONE of the quirks that a long time lived as a loner produced. And the problem is that this feeds back to itself, because it's not just an anime, One Piece is a cultural phenomenon in Japan. So Brook everywhere (not only in the anime but train rides, commercials etc) will be asking about women's panties like this is his whole character. But it is not Toei "hating" a character, it's just as @Sanji Joestar said an easier way to make filler and a completely surface level read of a character. That's how we end up with these completely stripped of nuance one-note caricatures.
