36:20 in the manga this part was one panel and you can tell it's not actually how the giants are supposed to look. More just an 'idea' or like you said a cartoonish representation of 'giants' in general. Which is why it was quite smart from the Live Action to use that design for the Loki wooden statue.

I LOVE that they dressed up the train guy and Brulee. This episode was actually so funny. I enjoy Carson being Pell's biggest advocate. Even glazing Pedro by comparing him to Pell, which is extremely fair as that outfit was killer and Pedro is a boss. I actually think Pedro looks cool like this though, in a goofy One Piece kind of way. His thick neck makes him look like he's hunched over in some shots, kinda like an actual Jaguar.
