Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the thing with chopper was that he hadn't seen everybody in 2 years so he honestly thought now that's how they look after 2 years cuz after you seen the real crew he was able to put their old character designs with their new characters designs and it made more sense to him

Chopper didn't recognize the fake Sanji as an animal because he didn't talk, he just ran away. Then the Fake Luffy was Brûlée so she could talk and confuse them even more. While Luffy was distracted with his mirror image. Brulee was the one who ran with Nami & co to get away, and due to the mirroring, she forced Luffy to run the other side. That's why Luffy was surprised and started talking. That's when Brulee interrupted the mimicry and shut the fake Luffy's mouth. Thus Luffy got lost in the woods too before finding other clones. Meanwhile Brulee revealed herself, Carrot got captured in a mirror and Chopper fought the trees and Homies.

The members of the underworld that were introduced are different from the 5 Mafia Families from the West Blue. They're all part of the underworld, and so was Doffy as Joker and Cesar.

We did know he wasted that money away, we just didn't know into what. He mentioned in Dressrosa that he swindled her. And later in Zou he explains that because Doffy/Kaido were back in him up, he ''got carried away''. He received multiple fundings and as we know was dedicated to making his own research possible. Smiles, Shinokuni etc It was just Gigantism that he completely gave up on since he knew it wouldn't work.

Oh gosh I can’t wait for backstories man, nice theories and great discussion! People dislike big mum for her design but no one can say Oda didn’t put IN for her character. It’s cool also that big mom and whitebeard both have identities of being parental figures but seemingly whitebeard had a healthy mind with a well of experience meanwhile Big mum is suffering from whatever tf happened in her past which now effects her kids. When most your kids are too scared to tell you the truth when they fail, it’s not a good look

Shakky looks that good in old age is because she achieved her dreams, this is oda's logic. Similarly big mom is ugly because she hasnt achieved her dreams yet. Oda has revealed all the straw hats' looks when they turn 40 and 60 under two conditions, first they achieved their dreams, and second they failed. You guys should check it out, its hilarious. I dont think there's any spoilers there, but be cautious nonetheless

Much as I lament Oda’s unwillingness to kill characters, gags like Gastino only work because Mocha didn’t actually die. Sure, he’s still a bad guy and the crew fucking hates him and he’s in theory a war criminal, but he’s not quite Shou Tucker. The G jokes are so fucking funny, by the way.

No, brotherhood is absolutely better, without a doubt. But 2003 should be watched first because you likely won’t enjoy it as much if you watch it second. AND brotherhood was made with the fact that most people at that time had seen 2003, so the start is rushed for that reason. So watching 2003 fills in a lot of that time
