The train arc is one of THE peaks of Part5 for me

Lindsey picking up on the themes👀. 25:39, yes great observation. The goal was to capture Trish, and throughout the fight Pesci had been building up the resolve to do such. But then he desparately tried to destroy the turtle instead, losing his original resolve. That quickly spelled his defeat. It reminds me of the Salon Cinderella episode where Yukako had to have the resolve to apply the lipstick every hour so that she would remain lucky and have Koichi love her. Also with Kira. He had to have the resolve to not kill any women, for Luck to be on his side and remain hidden from Josuke and the gang. As soon as he killed that couple, Hayato saw him and caused the chain of unlucky events, ending in his death by a hospital truck
