There's another layer to the moment between Luffy and Judge. Judge is mocking Sanji for risking his life for the weak, but Sanji had earlier risked his life to save Germa. Judge would be dead right now if not for Sanji. So, in a sense, Judge is calling himself weak. It's kind of ambiguous whether he realizes he's admitting his own weakness. My headcanon is that he doesn't consciously realize it, but deep down he knows. Which is why he's so angry in that moment. IMO, this moment is way more peak than Snake Man. You get "snake man" moments in so many other anime, but it's much harder to find moments like this that say so much with so few words.

That interaction between Judge and Luffy is top 5 in this arc for me. And it's already hard to make a tier list since WCI has a lot of great moments.

When Luffy listens to that entire list of insults and genuinely hears it as a glowing review of Sanji’s character is so good. To a tyrant like Judge, kindness, empathy, and feeding the hungry are fatal weaknesses. To the future Pirate King, those exact same traits are what make Sanji an irreplaceable, top-tier human being. Now this is a life lesson (Not the Luffy vs Katakuri fight where now Luffy for some reason is saying he beat Katakuri in an earnest fight). No human is perfect, and it is ok to have weaknesses. What's more important is that you try to maintain a righteous/golden heart throughout our harsh realities. Don't let the weight of the world twist you into someone like Judge. Someone that believes perfection is the only way to be satisfied in our harsh world. Perfection was a way for Judge to fight against our harsh world. He just couldn't accept weakness

It reminds me a bit of Gyro Zeppeli's dialogue with Diego when they were racing in Steel Ball Run episode 1. Diego said we all have quirks/weaknesses. You can't change that fact, just like you can't change Fate. Diego was using Gyro's horse's quirk as an insult to Gyro, and one that he could exploit. Yet Gyro tells his horse to use its quirk/weakness. To embrace it. And it ends up breaking the bridge to which Diego is stranded on for a few good minutes. We all have specific quirks/weaknesses, but we should not always view them as bad. It is OK to not be perfect. What is truly important in our lives?

The softness of one's heart makes you weak according to Judge and yet he's only alive because of it. He wants Sanji to be strong but can't even acknowledge how much he's grown on his own. Because it's not a growth he 'programmed', he isn't the reason he got there, so it's literally invisible in his eyes. A 'weak strength'

I'm convinced some people don't read/speedread chapters that don't contain their faves. And if you don't like Sanji, well you won't look deeper into anything he does or say. So many people say Sanji was crying because a girl didn't wanna marry him and I'm just confused.
