Honestly, every episode makes me like Asuma more and more. I already wrote a similar comment, but Asuma is quickly becoming my most interesting and favorite character. I also like how we now have a third party in the form of the Shingo clan, which makes sense considering the Kagemori aren't exactly direct antagonists right now. And regarding Akio at the end of the episode, I don't think it's some kind of betrayal, I think it's someone disguising themselves as him or they're controlling him, well, who knows, maybe he just has his own motives, although it's pretty stupid to try to attack a person using a crowbar when Asa literally has the power to disintegrate you on the spot.
