Yeah I was thrown off too, I'm like I don't remember 929 being anything crazy. Then I realized it must be another 2 in 1 lol

Sanji Joestar

Alpacaman is an insult to my very being

Sanji Joestar

Robin downplaying how much info she got reminds me of a great gag with Brownbeard when the crew asks him who the Yeti Cool Brothers are. '' Well we don't know anything about them. Not even their faces. The only thing we know is how they work, how big their footprints are, that they're beast men covered in fur. A snowy duo of assassins. We only know their names, Scotch and Rock! They're from the Snowy Island, Age 25..." 😂

If I ate the alpaca-alpaca fruit and saw what I’d become I’d immediately jump in the water.

This is why people should never use the chapter/episode ratio argument for pacing when defending Pre-Timeskip. This episode wasn't even a full chapter, but was constant dialogues. I just checked the chapter, and the chapter is like modern Hunter Hunter. This chapter would have been 2 pre-timeskip chapters minimum. Long gone are the days when an episode adapts 1.5 chapters, but all it is is Sanji boarding a sea train. Similar episodes are in Wano, like Luffy and Holden bitching at each other for the whole episode, but that episode was half a chapter of content. If Toei were to adapt 2 chapters per episode, it genuinely would be extremely fast paced. Like a Maki episode from JJK, there would be cutting. 1.5 should be the max, for a Wano pace

The Grand line goes around the globe, separated into Paradise and the New World I believe. It's not grand line and new world. The first part being called paradise in comparison to the new world.

Kinda bored when these Smile users show up, it takes away Kaido’s aura.

The East Blue is basically the part of the northern Hemisphere above the Grand Line and the North Blue is the part above the New World. You're right in that regard. However at Reverse Mountain you can reach all four Seas and since you could argue that Wano is basically in the middle of the New World, people from there could've sailed east wards and crossed Reverse Mountain to any Sea from there. That aside, given enough time people that left Wano or their decendants are probably scattered all around the One Piece world even if only a handful escaped from Wano. And 800 years is plenty of time.

Alpaca man is the next Trebol. Get the F outta my arc man.

I agree. I think one piece specifically doesn't work with a super fast pace.

Wano in particular because even with dense dialogues it can still feel like scenes were straight out skipped because we cut to characters being paired together and different locations seemingly out of the blue. Toei has been doing it's best to fill in the gaps, coupled with slowing down the pace, but the feeling is still there at times.

Episode 929 starts at 20:57

Yea I think Paradise borders East Blue and South Blue, and the New World borders West Blue and North Blue.
