I LOVE JOJO

This episode only confirmed Asuma as my current favorite character. I also really didn't expect that my comment from episode 7 or any of the earlier ones where I said Asuma was too suspicious to be a traitor turned out to be right after all. After all, from the very first meeting between Asuma and Shingo, he'd given those looks whenever Shingo spoke ill of his mother or talked about killing his older brother to become clan head. He never seemed particularly pleased with those ideas, and I'm glad I picked up on that. And now it's clear that all three of Shingo's characters, or at least two, since Asuma is still loyal to the Kagemori, are my favorite characters. My personal list: 1. Asuma 2. Ivan 3. Shingo

The fact that the real Asa isn’t in the episode between the opening flashback and the end made me completely forget that she would’ve known about the smoke signals too 😅 Also, the continued dichotomy between the twins: Asa seems scarier on the outside, but she’s more caring and has a softer side underneath. I don’t think she would kill a kid, even one from the village. Meanwhile, Yuru seems nicer on the outside, but he has a ruthless, cutthroat side. It makes sense for his character to prioritize his goals and get information about his parents

I LOVE JOJO

He's certainly ruthless, but he's still a good kid. He still tries to do the right thing and only tries to kill those who try to kill him. He just wants a normal life, but he's essentially been forced into this whole game of murder and betrayal. I feel sorry for both twins and I wish their parents would be okay and they could reunite as a normal family, but knowing Arakawa...
