Amazing show. I remember smoking in an alley at my new place after moving away from home and having a simular feeling of freedom while the sun rises. I felt alone, thousands of miles away from where I spent my life, but I felt so alive. I liked how he wakes up to try to relive that feeling of freedom but just ends up thinking about her instead. Though we love and sometimes want to go back to those moments, sharing new experiences with the people in our lives is usually more fulfilling.

i dont smoke but as someone who has trouble sleeping and wakes up earlier than id like, that feeling when youre just wandering around your place or outside at like 3am and you feel Zen as if youre alone in the world really is the greatest feeling in the world. this show just gets it.
