As far as I know, the Battle of Sekigahara was one of the most important battles in Japanese history, as it set the course of country for the next couple of centuries So, if the village lord didn’t receive any visible rewards despite being on the winning side, and we can also assume that the village doesn’t have a lord at all now, it might be important information to keep in mind 🤔 I’m definitely going to read manga after end of the season, too curious not to catch up on ongoing plot, Arakawa definitely makes top tier stories 😅

I LOVE JOJO

I love this episode; it’s so relaxed and calm, barely featuring any other characters. I really like the relationship between Asa and Yuru, and I just want them to reunite with their parents so badly. I swear, Arakawa—if the manga doesn't end at Disneyland...

Elliot

Something fun about this episode is the very very quiet reveal that Azami's mom (who gets extremely murdered in episode one) was one of the villagers plotting Yuru's murder in the mountains via bandits in the hopes of Higashi Village taking over the world. Danji was really keeping him safe from literally all of the adults around him.
