no op tday ?.?

x

i could see the future it's coming later #trust

Coqnbauz

I can see farther into the future and I can confirm that they decided to quit watching One Piece because of Queen and Orochi's existence. They'll be releasing a New Show Poll any second now

oh shit nice

Nicolas LeBlanc

They struggle with scheduling releases on Patreon. I wouldn't want to see their alarm clocks and use of the snooze button.

Xavier Arias

It can’t be that hard 😅it’s their only job right?

Coqnbauz

I mean they released like a TON of content yesterday, give them a break lol

Ruben Pomp

No hate but they are by far the least consistent reactors, just one upload a day for 10 bucks a month, they should just keep a tight schedule like other reactors or change the “1 vid a day thing” to like 4 ep a week

Gamemetrician

I mean, for the most part they seem to be pretty consistent to me, at least in regard to OP. If anything, a more consistent and accesible heads up or announcements on delays or breaks (Patreon sucks for this) would be very helpful. Some inconsisteny is expected and warranted to have sick time, vacation time, holidays, emergencies, etc. And I don't know what their workflow is for doing this content. And I also don't know what their life goals are and how this channel intersects with those goals. I think it is hard to make judgements like that without knowing all that.

BOLDcast

It was scheduled for today, it came out today, sorry it was later than normal, we weren’t feeling it last night, and we didn’t want to phone it in We did release a shitload of content yesterday, I know it’s not what everyone is here for, but we’re trying to have more of a balance. We’re late a couple days a month and we’re already ahead of what we’ve promised, so any lateness isn’t even actually lateness. It’s just instead of keeping the episodes in the back pocket, we just posted them, and stayed ahead of schedule. I know we’ve had a bad reputation for a long time. But we’ve worked very hard to stay on top of things, and we’ve been very consistent for month after month, and I don’t think we deserve this impatience just because people are excited for one piece.

BOLDcast

Also, “go down to 4 per week?” You guys are upset an ep got posted a few hours later than normal, so your suggested solution is to cut down our output by 2 videos per week? This is the attitude people have toward us giving more than we promise and trying to give more and more content?

Xavier Arias

Don’t listen to the guy about 4 per week. That’s crazy

BOLDcast

Of course that’s the part you latch onto After “it can’t be that hard, it’s their only job”

I'm sorry if it seemed like I was rushing you. I'm Korean and I've been a subscriber for a long time, but honestly, I'm not really sure about your usual upload schedule. Since it was much later than the usual time, I just wondered if the video wasn't going to be uploaded today. I wasn't angry or anything, I was just curious. I know that even if it's delayed, it'll probably be uploaded tomorrow along with the other videos anyway. Also, I noticed a few somewhat negative comments below, and I hope you don't let them get to you too much.

BOLDcast

It’s ok! So sorry if I got a bit heated, it wasn’t directed at you specifically Our regular upload schedule is that we normally post at around midnight PDT which is our timezone. But we recently have been posting before that most days, and we don’t technically have to post it at midnight, we just give them out when we have them Sorry if I made you feel bad with my replies. All in all we’re very happy and thankful for all the support, and we know everyone is just excited about one piece Thank you again for enjoying our videos!

Thank you so much ofc it's my favorite onepice channel cmon🥰💕 looking forward I've been subscribing since the Clannad Reactions you two did.

Hey I don’t mean it to sound like a personal attack. I just noticed that a lot of people in comments(not yall) be acting like creators are doing us a favor by uploading and we shouldn’t say anything when the content doesn’t come, but non of us is here for free and I think it’s ok to say something sometimes. It’s never meant to be an attack that should be taken personally. But if you felt that way then I apologize. Mah bad

BOLDcast

I respect that, but there are plenty favors we DO do for you on top of the normal scheduled content, which I think do warrant more grace than impatience. We're not required to continue posting when we miss a youtube upload, but we do, putting the viewers ahead of what they are paying for because it seems more fair. But that, for example, IS a favor and we do it partially to buy some good faith. We also frequently post the days uncuts hours before they are "due" for the same reason (even though theoretically they wouldn't "technically" be due until the youtube upload gets uploaded at around 7am). Again, we do this to hopefully make up for a time like yesterday, where the video might be a few hours LATER than normal. We do stuff like this when we don't actually have to, because we care, and because its right, but its not necessary yet people don't seem to take that into account when something comes later than they expected. And when these times come, people act like we're terribly inconsistent and we miss shit all of the time when thats literally not true. It has been in the past, which we are responsible for, we admit that we have had long periods these past few years where we don't upload for a long time without communication, and that stain on our reputation is something we're trying to wash out. But my point is that we DO do you guys favors, and they are rarely remembered, and plenty of viewers feel like they are owed things we never promised and come to expect things that we do voluntarily as a courtesy
