let's fucking gooo

drekalis

blessed with ishitani peak

Martin Hagen

You know its Ishitani when you can literally pause anywhere in the episode and won't find a frame that's not beautiful

100Rainy

Toei: So yeah again, it's kinda just a set up episode. Going over some enemy factions and whatnot. Seriously you don't gotta go too crazy with it... Ishitani: Aight bet.

Sanji Joestar

AHHH HOW DID I MISS THE NOTIFICATION

100Rainy

Yup all of Oden's crew are freakishly huge, except for like one of them.

John Spartan

Man, I miss Ishitani. Don't get me wrong, there will be many well directed One Piece episodes in the future, just, no one does it like her. The next time she appears will be in my opinion, her magnum opus. I understand why they took her away from episode direction and moved her to other projects. I hope Toei gives her a One Piece movie someday like she wanted.

Shark

Gomu Gomu peak episode

100Rainy

I might just be uncultured and lack exposure to the good stuff out there, but I've found that Japanese rap hardly ever flows well. So Queen and Apoo's performance was certainly flashy and cool looking but yeah...doesn't really sound all that great lyrically. Still a goated sequence though 😎🔥

Michael DeArmas

This episode was directed by Megumi Ishitani btw, who you might recognize as the director for the One Piece Fan Letter

Sanji Joestar

Perfect Cut off episode for a Wano Part1 Podcast by the way

FoxfireEspresso

Another milestone episode reached! Can't wait for what's to come.

Whenever I watch episodes directed by Megumi Ishitani, I just can’t help but feel my heart pounding the entire time, no matter how many times I rewatch them. Seriously… the Fan Letter episode, episodes 957 and 982, and the episodes she’ll direct in the future… I’m really looking forward to them. Personally, I think the next episode directed by Ishitani will be one of the best episodes in all of One Piece.

lmao

Kat DeLaney

I've dreamed of this day!!!

Sanji Joestar

982 is a masterpiece of presentation and delivery A celebrate of the crew finally together And a promess for things to come Maybe I just love how much it reinforces that their carefree nature is what makes the crew themselves. Luffy's just the kind of guy to inspire people that way The cup scene just brings me to tears It's just perfect. And I love every single one of these goofballs!

Peterpanda01

BTW the Queens song in Dub is awesome.

Emm Eff

Made me get back on the computer at 2am!

SomeoneElse

I've waited so long for you guys to see this episode 😂😂😂 glad to finally be here

Oussama Essamadi

Man, I have been waiting for this one ever since 956.

oerwhat

BAAD? 👀

Lonestar

this is a good cut off point for a mini arc pod cast. there is going to be alot when the raid begins

Miguel Nobre

The actuall reason she not been present in any episodes it's because she been having Health problems

idziman

Listen, we watch for the story analysis, we know where to go if we want decent music analysis. And his name is Queen.

Miguel Nobre

I hope they told them to skip a certain part on episode 984,Toei was crazy for doing that

NAXNKYO

We’re so close bro 😭

weiweiwei

Noland jumpscare 3:48

Tony

Glad Carson said it. I hate Queen too lol

weiweiwei

17:48 Stay a bit worried

Bestfriendzs :P

actual chills from this episode wano gonna be so peak

Ariix

God I LOVE those moments of the strawhats where they just fuck around and joke with each other. It feels like it's been a while since we had the whole crew together like this, and whenever we get to see all their dynamics play out, it just fills me with joy. Not to mention that the direction and animation enhances every second of it.

testlunch

I'm here for Banquet Piece.

testlunch

It's like being around someone so larger than life actually rubbed off on them lol

Emily

absolutely dying laughing at the brutal slander against Queen in the discussion lmaooooo

godUsoland

Megumi Ishitani THE GOAT! Every episode from her is LEGENDARY! Look forward to her next showing! :)

Szonin

My goat Ishitani

Coqnbauz

All I'm hearing is that you're both jealous of my boy Queen the Plague lol

DetectiveYuki

everyone loves this episode because of course its the introduction to my beautiful wife UIti.

Jamie Weight

Don’t forget guys around eps 994/ 995 I think it’s time for the Stampede movie 🎥

Murkou

I mean EVERY one piece episode looks awesome nowadays

charlie

why can't you just let people enjoy an episode without hyping it up 30 episodes in advance

ignorantWeed

This episode gives me pre timeskip vibes. One piece is a special anime when people who work on it match the limitless creativity of Oda.

Daniel Assis

This episode is so peak, but I always find it funny how Carrot, who was literally on the Straw Hats' ship, suddenly disappears for the entire episode 😭
