So on the topic of giant experimentation, this is another example of the difficulty/impossibility of the task. We know Kaido had Numbers in his crew back in the Oden Flashback so it's been at least Twenty years that these failed ancient giants experiments have been made. And Law told us the government has been trying to create gigantism for literal centuries. We're also told these experiments were brought from Punk Hazard. During the arc there was a room with frozen giant prisoners. So it's been a while that this task seems to have been a failure again and again. Closest we've seen is Cesar using kids' growth hormones which also led to an early death. (If I were Gastino, I'd scam Big Mom too if she asked me to do what nobody's done in centuries lol, while I have Doffy and Kaido as backup 😂)

Nami just got caught up in the moment, she did just almost die after all. She's never called him Big Bro before, in fact most of the crew flat out refuse to besides Usopp and Chopper. But she's so grateful for the save that she wound up being a bit more affectionate towards him this time. And besides it's a nice little callback to Franky's family on Water 7, they all called him Aniki (big bro) too out of respect.

Ep 1000 is a celebratory victory for TOIE adaptation reaching 1000 episodes. However the real milestone and oda's achievement is Chapter 1000 of the manga. That will be in episode 1015 of the anime. One of the best if not THEE best episodes in the entire show. What's all this talk about Roof piece i hear?? hmm 🤔

That would not be a good thing. The closer the numbers are, the worse the general pacing is. With ''good'' pacing, One Piece (pretimeskip) had around a hundred ahead. For example Alabasta was around episodes in the 100s while the manga equivalent was in the 200s. The timeskip was around the 500 eps mark while in the manga it was in the 600s. Slowly, the numbers are starting to align. Ep 953 for example was adapting ch953. With the Oden flashback fleshing things out the gap widened a bit more. For ch1000 to equate to episode 1000, they'd had to have an even worse pacing for Wano in general. (Also please avoid hyping up specific episode numbers.)

That's just not true Just last arc we were exploring her dynamic with Sanji as she felt responsible for losing him under her watch, went through everything to get him back and felt hurt about his dismissal. Adding to that their goal of rescuing his family to help him and her newfound dynamic with Zeus or Chiffon among other stuff. How did you miss all that ?
