Here’s a look at the animations I’ve been working on:

Please note: these are not final animations. They’re just mockups I put together to test how the body parts interact. The final version will be animated directly in Ren'Py, where I can get much more out of these sprites.

This batch took way longer than it should have. I ran into a few setbacks along the way:

The artist I’m working with isn’t familiar with the sprite format I need for animation. He’s used to drawing static fanart and comic panels. This is his first time working with assets for games or visual novels.

We also had some communication issues due to language barriers, which made it harder to align expectations early on.

On top of that, he’s dealing with some hardware limitations that prevent him from working with too many layers at once, making it tough to maintain lineart and shading consistency across frames.

So, I adapted. I commissioned the scenes in a format he could manage, basically as static comic panels, and once I received the files, I spent a long time reverse-engineering everything, rebuilding each body part from scratch to construct the poses and get them ready for animation.

It took a while, more than I anticipated. But the system is finally working, and I’m already seeing better results for the next round. The next batch is already coming out more efficiently.

Thanks for sticking with me, and for making this possible through your support. Let me know what you think of the previews.
