For this month's two parter, I took inspiration from this suggestion in the poll:

flirty best man with strict maid of honor planning joint bachelor-bachelorette parties; Maid of honor gives in during said party cause of  prolonged time together, and best man is just so charming and fun!

But I wanted to make it a little bit more yearny!

Sooooo, let me set the scene for you.

It's a week before your best friend Marcy's destination wedding at an undisclosed tropical island. You've known Marcy since the 6th grade, and Johnny since he started dating Marcy back in grade 9. The best man is Johnny's childhood best friend and world renowned poet, Markus Audio.

Here's the thing. You knew Markus before the accolades and best selling books. You knew him back when he was a moody teen from a troubled home who skipped English class to work on "real poetry". You knew him because he was YOUR high school sweetheart.

However, in grade 12, he just suddenly moved without telling you. Not a text, not a phone call, nothing. When you'd try to ask Johnny about it, he'd get cagey and say, "Sorry, I can't say nothing...I made a promise..."

FAST FORWARD to today, a week before the aforementioned destination wedding. You and Markus have been tasked with arriving to the resort early, to make sure everything is on the up and up before Marcy and Johnny arrive.

You've steeled your heart and resolve. You're just doing your job as the maid of honour. This week is all about Marcy, Who cares if some stupid moody poet is coming as well.
