At ease, Ghost Corps.

We all completely missed this in theaters - because, I mean, yeah - but now Jake, Mike, & I are sitting down to watch Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire for the first and last time! Watch as Finn Wolfhard wonders whether or not his scenes will even make the final cut, Bill Murray wonders why he's still alive, and we wonder if a single person involved in making this movie had any interest in it whatsoever.

I laughed harder during this track than I did during this movie and Afterlife combined 😂 Great track!

mike was right and no one acknowledged it. they cut the fire pole to melt down copper for whatever reason and then the "fire master" slides down a complete pole 15 minutes later. so sad that this probably gets a third movie.

Don't know how good I'm synced up, but when you said Robert frost, lightning struck in the movie 💀

It's hilarious how obviously absent Finn was throughout the movie cause he was probably filming Stranger things

you think i would have learned after i had to rewatch afterlife with pmi, but i have once again had to shamefully rewatch the new ghostbusters movie with the boys. really great track though so it was worth it.

What’s crazy is that I would actually watch Madame Web before watching this movie again. Holy shit that was bad 😭

I have a theory about your comparison of older actors vs. newer actors. I think with these big franchise movies that they’re making like this, Star Wars, Marvel, the directors aren’t really directing them. If you watch the non-action scenes in basically any franchise movie it’s very minimal and simplistic blocking and camera movement and it just feels like they’re in a hurry to get through it. In the 80’s, directors gave a shit about what they were making so they actually sat down with their actors for long periods of time to come up with a whole, complete character, but now it’s just ‘do whatever you want. Action!’. I think that’s why the older actors are better to you, because they at least have an old character that they can draw from, while the newer actors don’t have that and are left with very thinly written characters. Because McKenna Grace doesn’t have that issue is stuff like Haunting of Hill House, and Carrie Coon doesn’t have that in Gone Girl, so I don’t think it’s a matter of actors being different, I think it’s a matter of directors being unmotivated and complacent.
