You've never seen it miss this house 👈🏼 and miss that house 👉🏼 and come after you! 🫵🏼

Just in time for Wicked, my sister Jillian & I are watching the prequel Twister: The Untold Story of the Twister of Oz! One of the best blockbuster movies ever made, Twister shows just what can happen when you get too horned up by wind and have zero will to live.

It also may have been a mistake to watch it right before seeing the sequ- no... rema- NO... new one, Twisters. Can Glen Powell pull off another Top Gun: Maverick?! Or will it just make us yearn for the old days when they'd build a whole town just to destroy it?

I’ll never forget seeing this movie for the first time. I went to Universal Orlando with my mom and sister and we went on the ride first, and I mentioned to my mom that I’d never seen the movie so we bought it from the gift shop afterwards and watched it in our hotel that night and it’s still one of my favorite movies of all time, and I still have that original DVD on my shelf almost 15 years later.

I remember my hometown once had three different tornadoes all touch down on the same night several years ago. I never actually saw one in person but I'd definitely be the Melissa in this scenario lol. I like that the movie doesn't necessarily paint her as a villain since I feel like it'd be easy to do that with her being the "new girlfriend/fiancé" stereotype. The tracks with you and Jillian are always some of my favorites!

Also, you should look into the new Alien movie that they’re making. I saw the director talk about it and a lot of the complaints you have about a lot of modern big movies, that movie is doing the opposite. Building massive sets, miniatures, creature animatronics/ costumes, puppets, even stop motion!!:)

I believe your "it's a twister" impression is Adam Sandler from Jack & Jill.

Thought for sure I was going to have to wait till Halloween for a striffler sister reunion but the girls are back and we are so blessed for it 🫡

This movie was an all time favorite for me and my family. We will still all get together and watch it on stormy days. Also, I legit credit this movie for my love for rock and metal music. I started listening to Van Halen as a little kid because of this. 😂

I’m lucky to have gone on the Twister ride before it closed, now I’m hoping that seeing Twisters in imax will be close to how that ride felt
