The Summer I Turned... German?

Maxton Hall looks similar to lots of other shows we've watched, with plenty of hot people wanting to kiss, lavish galas, and even a mean dad, but there's one major difference... it's not in English! And we won't be watching with any assistance. Subtitles be damned, we're raw-dogging this thing!

I've had this idea for a while to watch something in a different language without any subtitles or dubbing and try to figure out what the hell is going on. Will we be totally off?? Or mostly get it right? And when are we finally getting back to that party scene?!

Alan had know idea what we were about to attempt but I couldn't think of anyone else more suited for this experiment. Join us, won't you? Guten Tag! Social media!

PS. We recommend watching this episode in German with English (or your preferred) subtitles turned on!

Maybe I'm a sap for teen romance shows but I think this is good for a teen drama! However I am still extremely confused by it being German and yet set in England

I really hope you guys never figure out during the tracks that the opening scene from the first episode was only a couple of hours in the future and keep waiting for it to come back
