Dude, where's my pen?

One of my sister Jill's favorite movies of all time, Red Eye stars Silly-an Murphy and Rachel McMeanGirls in a Wes Craven-directed thriller that's literally an hour and twenty-five minutes long! We love to see it!!! Anyone else turned on by the choking?! Come on!!!!!!!

Fuck yeaasss I love this movie!! Rip to the genius that was Wes Craven🙌🙏🖤

Dystopian Wolf Studios

Oooh this is the Wes Craven one. I had this confused with "Flight Plan" 😂😂😂

this is for a niche set of people but the guy who plays the security guard for the politician guy is colby from survivor: austrailia and survivor: heroes vs villains! i think he came in second in his first season lol i’m pretty sure during that time (2000-2006) a lot of survivors would get offered small movie and tv show roles all the time bc of how big the show was! good for him!

Dystopian Wolf Studios

Ooh so Erik is also a "Realistic doesn't belong in movies." Brother 😎

Dystopian Wolf Studios

It's so funny that Kyle was in an episode of Dmallville as the Flash, and that opened up a bunch of doors to just do Horror movies

sweet dee

so glad you mentioned the music. i love marco beltrami. he did all the scream movies with wes too.

Quentin

this was my first time seeing this but ive wanted to watch for a long time and i gotta say at the start of the movie i was firmly in the mean girls best look camp but i am shifting into red eye camp she looked great in this

AMD

Jillian’s been my favorite track guest for a while now, but mean girls Rachel over red eye Rachel? Oof. I don’t know how she comes back from that one.

M&M

idk if you saw it, but another really good just pure fun horror/ thriller that came out this year was Abigail, it was made by the guys who did Scream 5&6 and Ready or Not, and they're absolutely filmmakers that have the mindset of just having a good time.

Amal

Cynthiaaaa 😜. One of my fave movies ever, and it's always great when the Strifflerson sisters get together for a commentary track. Loved Jillian's analysis of the bay breeze airport bar scene, and your ideas about the nonchalant idgaf style of acting in modern movies vs. other eras (p.s. Rachel looked better in this vs Mean Girls imo)

Abby Mason

This was so fun! Also I really was having Final Destination anxiety when they were boarding the plane

Matic Valentan

Hell yeah, Jillian! Disturbia is also one of my absolute favorites. Also Cellular, which is another one of these straight to the point in and out movies!!

Cari 💜

I agree with Jill, Regina George is THE LOOK. But Rachel plays lacrosse in both movies? Weird thing I noticed while watching this with y’all.

Ashley Lynne Evans

I love the idea of Rachel McAdams’s agent booking exclusively time travel movies 😂

Juan Ortiz

What a amazing and hilarious track, Eric And Jillian! Weirdly enough, there were TWO movies that took place inside a plane and like with this movie, was also a thriller. The second one was Flightplan which came out a month after Red Eye, which is just perfect coincidence. Also, this movie is really underrated and was proof that Wes Craven (god rest his soul) CAN make a good movie without studio interference (looking at you, Cursed). Also also, the fact that I watched this commentary track on THIS day tells me something. LOL

Liv Sutcliffe

I’ve never seen this movie before but loved it! I watched HSM earlier today so totally got the Sharpay bathroom reference. I’ve not seen Trap yet so was trying to tune out in case of spoilers !

holland rainwater

you are correct Cursed is GREAT and would be an amazing track👀

DeAndre

that ending was so Scream this was great
