Gen V is back in town!

Almost all of our favorite characters are back (rest in peace Fake Landon) in season 2 of Gen V, and once again we love that this show is injecting fun back into The Boys universe. Sure there's horrible shit going on, but we can also spare a bit of time to play beer pong with Lizze Broadway - literally!

Miles & I have been SO excited to dive back into this show and Boy was it worth the wait...

I am so impressed by this season! I am with you with being nervous about what they could do with it after the final season of The Boys. In my perfect world, the final season of The Boys is called The Boys V and it's just an entire crossover season where they team up to train and defeat Homelander and then everything works out, everyone makes out, and it's wrapped up nicely with a bloody bow

This season exceeded my expectations in the best way! I have a lot of respect for how they kept Andre/Chance as a part of the show. And yes I hope The Boys V is just a straight up cross over with The Gen V characters. The idea of a secret superhero resistance team is so interesting!

All of my friends that aren't huge into movies or tv shows all say they haven't watched Gen V. I think watching season 4 of The Boys without seeing season 1 of Gen V probably didn't really change anything for them but if they don't see this season I can see them being completely lost now.

I was honestly hoping for like a big monster battle with godolkin like assimilating students and using their powers while they're attached to him or something a la Resident Evil, but I can appreciate what we got. Love Hamish and I agree that it'll suck if marie and the gang just kinda stand around in the background of The Boys S5 but we'll see. Long live Tail Girl and Bushmaster!

This fucking ruled. Perfect combination of the zaniness of The Boys, and the story of broken people helping each other feel less broken that made me love season 1 of Gen V. Perfect season length, perfect amount of nods to The Boys, and I do think the fact that Miles clocked the twist so early made the story details even more enjoyable. But I am very scared that season 5 of The Boys will ruin these characters...

Finally got around to watching gen v & had these tracks going the whole time... and man, what a ride ;( I didn't expect to feel Chance's passing so deeply, I think part of that was all the laughs he's brought to PMI, but also because S1 really allowed him to show what a talented actor he was. Gen v just had so much more to give and now I'm sad lol (great tracks tho, love how much yall loved this show :)
